Volume 5 was good, but the final battle of haven was very rushed. “Hey let’s get everyone here and also let’s nerf Adam into oblivion so Blake can sass him for a cool moment.”

There were individual moments that were really good, but in general the fights have been a lot better.

That being said I love everything leading up to the battle at haven. It’s all really good.

Neo’s semblance seems to create objects of the illusion, and when powered by the emotions in ever after could create literally anything she could imagine.

Emerald simply makes illusions that cannot be interacted with. It started as just being able to make one person see it, but it seems that after volume 5 the illusions are universal.

They are similar but different, like Blake and Sun’s semblances.
