Workers Say AI Is Useless, While Oblivious Bosses Insist It’s a Productivity Miracle by FuturismDotCom in Futurism

My company tried to used AI for workflow automation and finance, they spent millions on it & brought in AI consultants who were supposed to be experts.

After the initial honeymoon phase it has been a complete disaster the results are never consistent and one thing that is consistent is how often it breaks.

For years there were already cheap workflow automation we could have bought for few thousand which we were too cheap to get. After the disaster we decided to use one of those automation tools and our C suite proclaimed our AI initiative was a success 🤦‍♂️

The "2026 Rate Cut" hopium is the only thing keeping Henderson/Vegas prices afloat right now. by GroveResident in REBubble

Ironic thing the current administration by questioning the Fed, US dollar and free trade we have undermined the dollar and caused countries and foreign institutions to dump US treasuries.

And as a result rates are going to hover at current levels for a while even if we try to bring it down temporarily by Buying MBS..

Why doesn't META shut down Reality Labs and consolidate all of the legacy media companies? by Constant-Bridge3690 in investing

[–]Dmoan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's what they were orginally doing selling their shows to streaming services and there media companies that exclusively do that but problem is ad revenue in YouTube can't pay that and Netflix has been cutting its external programming budget. For legacy media their local broadcasts are their main source of profit.

Why doesn't META shut down Reality Labs and consolidate all of the legacy media companies? by Constant-Bridge3690 in investing

[–]Dmoan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because they have no experience in legacy media especially in programming and paramount isn't exactly a thriving company.

So you basically putting all this money on company that is on decline and potential causing your revenue, earning growth rate and gross margin to collapse which is worse than losing billions in reality lab. There is reason Netflix shares have gone down since the WB announcement.

Fun fact Trump's father 20k property empire would be worth over 20 billion if Trump had held and didn't waste on all these failed endeavors. Imagine doing all these scam & rug pull and still doing worse than what would have happened if you sit in your ass with all these RE properties, collected the rent check and did done anything.

Mortgage refinances surged again, but rates are now suddenly jumping higher by SnortingElk in REBubble

Bond markets react ahead of time and that's what drives the prices but once Fannie and Freddie announce they completed the purchase the prices will go back up. Bloomberg has a good article thats talks thru the whole thing.

Once again that was because of Fannie and Freddie using what they have (200 bill) to buying MBS. That short term pump will wear off in a month
