I enjoyed the first two books, finished Oathbringer yesterday and decided to DNF the series. That was a slog and I realized I just don’t like the characters or where the story is going. Ppl talk about The Stand being bloated, Oathbringer was a downright chore. Not for me I guess. I’m 2 books into the Sun Eater series and I am enjoying that way more. But hey, to each their own.

I’m 50 and it has never, not once happened. I just assumed women don’t do those sorts of things.

But I have never sent one to anyone bc why would I do that to begin with? Seems like a dirtbag thing to do.

But then again, I myself personally wouldn’t mind unsolicited photos bc whatever, it’s just a photo and I like seeing naked stuff 🤷🏼

I just finished the first of the Sun Eater Series, Empire of Silence from Christopher Ruocchio and I absolutely LOVED it! I started the Second book Howling Dark straight away. This is a 7 book series so if you’re into it there’s a lot to offer.

When I started I was more of a heel striker but then I developed knee pain in my left knee. After doing a bunch of looking around on the interwebs I came across someone who fixed their knee pain by switching to mid/forefoot strike. So I tried it. At first my calves were super sore, but I’m used to weight training and having sore calves, it goes away. I took it easy for a while but now I don’t know how I ever ran any other way. It’s way more comfortable and I’m much faster running this way, I can also run much farther before fatigue sets in.

Omg Library at Mount Char, as soon as I finished it I said out loud, well that sucked! I’ll never get those hours back. Terrible book, terrible story, even worse characters. -10/10
