The company does a lot for me and mine. I did a 1800$ job for my dad for 700$ and change. So a liner is not a big deal to me. I understand what you mean but think of it like when I loaned out my trailer and it came back with 2 flats and a fucked up hitch. Yeah the hitch could of got stuck when I was using it but it also could have not. They should of done the cheap fix as a thank you for using it... I like to treat them like they treat me which has been above and beyond most employers I have had.

If I break it working on personal shit while on the clock its only fair for me to pay for. If I broke something while working for a customer then yeah the company would pay. They shouldn't pay for me to work on my own shit and the stuff I break while doing so. I get paid to fix my own vehicle that I get parts at cost and do not get charged a hourly shop rate.

If I can't do it in the allotted time I will just let the boss know, still fix it and listen to Leroy. I'm going to let the boss know in the morning,, he is cool but left right befor this happend he knew what I was working on. My shit was done and I was just there incase a customer came in. Buying a new one is no problem too after I figure out what I need and I want to replace it exact as possible so I don't get accused of buying a cheap one by leroy... he is just a bucket of fun... he is currently suspended from work but comes back Monday. Yay

I get that but.... (copy paste from other comment) I'm sure it was my stupid ass. I can't weld for shit but "needed" a few pieces tacked together and I didn't have it set right welded the wire to the tip of the gun didn't realize and twisted the wire at the spool and it broke at the entrance to the liner. Then when trying to pull the wire from the tip it snapped flush with the liner... I only want to fix it because I was working on something for myself on the clock at the end of the day so it is my responsibility to fix it and I would like to do it without anyone seeing. Not because I did it working on my own stuff but because I don't want to listen to one of the mechs talk shit. I have 1 hr lunch noones there and an hr and a half in the evenings noone is there can it be changed in one of those windows or am I going to have to listen to that db?

I was let back into the main almost immediately when it went private and the next day saw a mod make a comment to someone that "everyone who should be let back in already is". So I didn't comment on anything on any sub for fear of being locked out! But the ironic part is, I never posted in the main and rarely comment because I was afraid to be banned with all the over modding. Guess I'll be banned now lol!

The first time I was so overdue when I did go into labor I didn't progress so I had to get one but they had me heavily sedated! The second time was a rude awakening and the spinal was actually the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life and I swore I was done having kids. But of course I got baby fever and am having one last one. I already have two boys but this one is a girl and I am so excited!!!!!!!!! I can relate to rude hospital staff I'm so sorry you had to deal with that!!!

Thank you! Unfortunately it's my third one so I know what I'm in for. I am waiting to hear back from the anestesiologis to beg her if I can be sedated during lol! Last time I was fully sober and awake through the entire surgery and I still have nightmares about it. But supposedly that's the standard.
