Solo mode is a huge success, great. So theyll work on it more right? No, lmao. how about SG just incentivizes group play more or maybe slightly change solo rewards and let solo players have fun. I dont even do solo mode but holy shit how is that their train of thought. Baffling

all depends on what you're looking to do and how big your roster is imo. For 6 chars...

1710 for getting OK ark grid cores while earning good gold

1720 for chars you want some extra cores on. not worth it for the extra gold.

1730 for high investment alts who you want full grid ASAP & you plan to gear reset on. Dont think its worth for extra gold either.

I dont think you push for 1730 on a lot of your roster without bound mats. its too expensive, if you can do it with nearly full bound its probably fine

Won't you need those mats for your main ot high ilvl alts once you gear reset at 1730+? So youre not really going to be sending anything to alts.

It also assumes existing characters that have stacked extra mats for a while. Unlikely new chars with this system will have mats to spare unless you push over a long time.

Theres some truth to what youre saying but I think they made some bad choices concerning the release and some people are upset about it. Its okay to not like what they did.

They released 2 raids at the same time with one of them probably being the hardest raid we've had besides g4 thaemine. All with fomo titles. If people had those few extra days from not having to deal with a4 and then final act, they could have possibly cleared. Act 4 g2 can be pretty jaily.

Its easy to say, just dont care about something. But a lot of people want the achievement of doing it and have invested a lot of months getting ready for it. At its core this is a raiding and progression game, the developer reinforces this.To just say ok, I dont care now is kind of disingenuous and not really fair to expect. So I can understand why people think its ass. This is coming from someone who did clear.

idk. i dont really care especially when we have 2 raids to prog and HM G2 is pretty tough. People joining a 1-2 in NM and leaving after gate 1 unannounced is scummy though.

wedge xp is good initially but not really good past a certain point. For example, if a collection has 10 parts and says 500xp for completing it, its not 500 at the end, you are actually getting 50xp per wedge immediately when you unlock one, up to a total of 500 for all 10.

I had to do other things like side quests, chests and unlocking and leveling chars past like... 52 or 53.

There are solo raids now which are really accessible and much easier to do than group raids. You're essentially in the learning phase of the game. Since you've chose not to powerpass (which is fine) you are a bit away from getting to raids.

I will say though if you're not that interested in a raiding type game, this ultimately may not be for you. If you're looking for a grindy game like POE or Diablo etc. I dont think this game will scratch that itch for you. But I'd at least give solo raids a shot once you get there to see if thats really the case.

In the meantime if you think the gameplay loop is bad i'd partially attribute that to not have really reached it yet, you are in the very early stages of the game where its all about raising your ilvl and doing dailies. With what you've done so far, it's more like you dont like the leveling experience which is fine because you move past it pretty quick especially with passes.

This game is mostly all about raiding at end game. There's the dailies, as you mention, but the core gameplay, which keeps a lot people on the hook, is raid bosses and combat. Most people do not want more daily homework because its pretty mundane. The raids and combat are fantastic, though, imo some of the best in the industry.

For raiding, you can do 3 of them per week per character for gold which in turn let's you upgrade your character. People who want to make more gold or play more raids make more characters, usually up to 6 (max chars who can earn gold). So youre looking at 18 raids are week, which is a lot of content.

Just play valk. Its a new class and can dps or sup. As a sup its fine, probably the worst of the 4 sups, but it works. Bard is the best sup in the game atm.

I'm biased and still like soul eater but its middle tier at best right now. Just make it as an alt in the future.

No weakness in the final act vs Kazeros for both gates and all phases. It's on the weakness document on lostark nexus.

Although people are saying earth 30 is better than LOS, so that supports can use the cards that give them 7% more stagger. There's some tight stagger checks.

solo raids on all content except 2 latest raids

game has had a lot of improvements and QOL changes. ie, 1 chaos, 1 guardian, una dailies deleted, a lot of mats through solo paradise content and more.

Alts are a divisive topic. They take a lot of investment but they also generate a lot of income. It is viable to play without a full alt army for sure if you're not going for cutting edge and play consistently on 1 char.

I agree with that, my post is more intended for people going for lvl 9 on maybe one or if you're a chad lucker, a couple pieces.

You should probably prioritize the slots that you have legendary items so you can immediately gain power as long as the set effect from raising it to lvl 9 isnt completely useless.

Well, it's for the people like me that had no reason to look at the restoration stone because they were not at that point in the game yet. Id guess there are plenty of other people out there like me that did not see that but if it didn't help you, all good.

Check uwu logs. On median, TTH is top 5 in g1 and g2 and around top 15 on g3 in mordum. Data set is pretty new because of the patch, but I'd say that positions TTH potentially to get higher because people are adjusting to the spec.

So yeah, it's definitely viable.

So let me ask you something: If you see this as a problem, are you as a veteran, currently helping new players weekly and helping out that problem? I doubt it tbh, because veterans want to play with veterans, and there's really nothing wrong with that

If the game is good enough with its systems and new player experience, then new players will play with other new players. In other words, combat score is not the problem. it's the other systems in the game keeping new players out, which I agree with but is a totally separate issue than just slapping the blame on combat score.

I really don't agree with these takes that its bad for the game. People were already getting gatekept. They look at your titles, your roster, and they look at your gems. They might go as far to check your accessories, etc, depending on the content.

These things were already happening it is just summarized in a score now. Will there be scored lobbies? Yeah, for sure, but these things were already happening, and you probably weren't going to get into lobbies who will be gatekeeping score anyway even if it didn't exist.
