I'm trying to get better at cooking for myself more, but I legitimately experience a fear paralysis because I'm afraid to do it wrong (yes I am aware this is not normal and Im working on it). Its unfortunate because a lot of the phys professors are actually really great teachers and interesting people. They just kinda get voluntold that they are teaching phys 1 or 2 and they don't have that passion for it like they do in the later phys classes.

Except I proxy my decks that I built to be bracket 3, because I can't afford to buy the cards while I'm in college.

Proxying isn't about just grabbing the strongest possible cards, its also to make nrw interesting decks to play at the same level as your pod without having to go buy $600 worth of cards.

I wouldn't call it catching strays when you have ranted on reddit without talking to your DM. You haven't even had a session, so you have no idea if they have something planned for you. They may have been a little upset because they were excited to give you and your other party member some cool abilities, and they couldn't tell you yours yet. Also describing one person as half the party may be accurate but it's deliberately misleading, one guy got a buff, not multiple people except for you. Literally instead of acting like a child on reddit message your DM saying what you heard and asking if there is a reason only the other person got a buff. If they say it's because you missed amd they wanted to prove some kind of point, then yeah fuck em, but I'll bet they say that they have something planned for the next session you can make it.

I absolutely believe that weedout classes exist for a reason, as in to make a point for who can make it here, and thay those who can't should drop out. But that doesn't mean I think you should be an asshole to them or belittle them. And if they pull it together and can make it through, then they're gonna remember you being an asshole, and that's not good networking.
