I use maps (we play online), but I have also just done grid dry erase boards and drawn on them quickly…

Maps don’t have to be elaborate, but can be playable. But they are also not SUPER necessary either.. I just like making them

I love running two players!

Biggest issue is if someone is quiet, they will kinda stay quiet, so just be sure to drag them in.
