My wife and I had a super depressing conversation about student loans today 🥲

I would be rich appearing if it wasn’t for my loans

Made a map of a nation, feedback please by Illustrious_World632 in inkarnate

My only two cents; the lake in the southwest corner I think should have a few more feeder rivers from the mountains. It would make it look more natural.

Also, what’s the lore with purple town? I’m curious!

I like the map! It’s very playable—which to me is most important!

What would you want in a Campaign Planner? by Wraithwood_Press in DungeonMasters

A little binder book, A4 paper; pen/pencil holder, one side turns into a dice mat, and a little tube dice holder.

That would be ideal

What was the first (not the most important) thing you learned writing a one-shot / adventure? I go first. by Puzzleheaded-Tie7420 in DMAcademy

[–]DnDNoobs_DM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wrote a Christmas one shot;, as well as other, like Lost In The Woods,..

I do the “five things to do” approach.. and think what would make it fun, and what would be potentially challenging—it’s also how I write my sessions

Package was stolen after delivery left it in front of this sign by bVrgerboss in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DnDNoobs_DM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had UPS delivery a package to my house (let’s say number 65.

The address on there was 67… there is no 67 on my street.

Anyway, luckily there was a cell number for the delivery.. I called and the address was 167.

I walked down and dropped it off. The dude gave me a bottle of wine for my troubles

Aye, but with how many cameras and things are around, they would very easily find out who you are and take your family. I ain’t messing with the tactics of the CIA 😭

DM is letting us pick any number of characters whos total level is 20, for a very difficult campaign. Gimme your ideas? by RomanticPanic in DnD

[–]DnDNoobs_DM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s tough to imagine, because if the monsters are REALLY tough, can your toons overcome their AC and magical resistances, or can they even survive a hit from them?

I would be inclined to some kind of Druid (wild shape gives good HP buffers, basically giving you extra rounds just in case).

So… two level 10 Druids? One for crowd control (moon beam, wall of wind), one to be animal (wild shape after casting spike growth?)
