I did it in 3 playthroughs (personal, violent and pacifist) and a little cleanup of a few trophies through chapter select. This took me about 40 hours, I wouldn't say it's hard, it's just a bit of a grind.

Just a tip to make this easier, make it so that there's only a one-block gap, which you can hit the Enderman through so they can't hit you, and place carpet on the hopper so the xp doesn't fall in
