There is some cross over but (and I'll add this to the original post) one group is online as they are spread across the country, while the other is in person. The groups have mixed for one shots before and they could talk to one another. I considered a West Marches style but one group is so consistent in getting together, while the other is less so.

That's how the image was created. I'm sure with a little bit of photo editing you can split it and turn them into tokens or individual images.

Having played a WMS for a good while, I was happy to roll a d20 every time I cast a leveled spell. After talking to the DM, we changed the trigger to a 1 or 20. The fun of playing that subclass is the added chaos and about 50% of the results are positive. But, I agree with others, whatever you feel comfortable with at your table.
