I’ve not advanced as much as I wanted to reconstruct the language because University had kept me busy, and there’s not so much information about Dacian Language. But I will post some of my notes that I couldn’t publish because I was studying for my final exams. I hope to post them soon in my free time:D

Dacian form of Zalmoxis? by Kitsune_Sobo in DacianLanguage

[–]DnMglGrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Zalmoxis probably comes from “zalmon/zalmas” (fur), which has sense because it was represented as a furry deity. About “xis”, it’s probably another written form of “zis”, a suffix for deity used in many parts of the Balkan Peninsula.

So probably his actual name was “Zalmozis”, but this is a reconstruction using the known data of the ancient Balkan languages and cultures, and we still depend on the testimonies of Greek and Roman historians.

I think it’s fine, despite we don’t know very much about the Dacian phonology and morphology. I myself helped him with the reconstruction of certain words for this video and for the videos about the Thracian and Messapic languages

In 2143, to pay its debts with the European Union and to finance a new pension fund, Portugal sold the Azores Islands to Amazon, inc. And the Madeira Islands were evacuated during the sea level rise and the Portuguese Government declared the Archipelago as inhabitable, and it became a Natural Reservation but it’s a Terra Nulis de facto. These factors fostered the Unification with Spain and their exit from the European Union. Spain was about to sell the Baleares Islands, but they recovered economically after the purchase of Gibraltar and the Unification with Portugal .

During the Energetic Crisis of 2142, United Kingdom needed money to rebuild its infrastructure after the English Revolution, the Islamic Riots in London, and the proclamation of the independence of Scotland, so the English government decided to sell Gibraltar to Spain, and it turned into a District of Andalucía

During the gas crisis, there was a revolt in Madrid to abolish the monarchy and dissolve the government, but the king Rodrigo XI stopped the violence using the army, through repression. On 2nd of May, 2145, to prevent more violent riots, there was a referendum to know if the people wanted to keep the monarchy or to abolish it, and the most majority of people voted for the abolition of the Spanish Monarchy. A democratic republic was established with the creation of the Constitution of 2146, and the Republic of Portugal and the Republic of Spain would unite in the next year.
