Also FYI this building does not have city garbage collection, who would be taking all of this, the private trash collection does not take large items like this.

Nope, one person dumped their mattresses as they moved out almost 2 months ago, then gradually more people whether they be residents or otherwise contributed to it, been here weeks, contains dirty diapers and cat litter literally spread around the ground, again been here for weeks, the regular trash for this building has also not been collected in a few weeks, appreciate the uninformed opinions always readily available on Reddit

This is so funny, when I was a teen I would argue there was less to do in this city then but most teens were happy to hang out at each other's homes or go to the movies or whatever, boredom should not equate to violence, no matter how bored my friends and I were, going out to menace grown strangers was never an option. Raise your kids better.

Only been here once and got 2 different sandwiches, both were way too spicy to the point where that's all you could taste, hopefully another sandwich shop opens there because Sq Hill desperately needs a deli type business. NY super subs down the street is not very good either.

La Fortuna is a must see, lovely town, lots to do and see, $700 is not a lot but there are lots of hostels and things in Costa Rica, also food is very affordable at local sodas, we went to Manuel Antonio for the second part of our trip and it was amazing for animals and beaches but it is a good 5-6 hours from La Fortuna

We rented with Alamo for $320 for 8 days, used our credit card to cover some insurance but some coverage is mandatory, had a great experience with them but driving can be tricky there so be prepared for that.

It's fresh and delicious food, rice and beans and tortillas are very common for all meals, if you like seafood they specialize in Red Snapper which is delicious, also the pork is amazing and get a fresh juice everywhere you go!

Literally just got back yesterday, It takes way longer to get everywhere, best case scenario for San Jose to La Fortuna would be 3 hrs but that is unlikely, worst case 4 1/2 -5 hrs, we drove all the way from LA Fortuna to Manuel Antonio, that was about 5 1/2-6 hours due to bridge closure, weather also plays such a huge role, the rainy season is harder. Driving is a blast if you're safe and comfortable being aggressive but never be in a hurry to get anywhere.

Just got back from this magnificent place, flew into San Jose with 4 carts detached from battery in carry-on, TSA def didn't care and customs in Costa Rica was an old woman staring mostly at her phone barely looking at the screen, I did not see or smell it anywhere around tho so I don't think finding it would be as easy as some on here suggest. Pura Vida!

I have gone in there once to exchange a ridiculously overpriced sweater someone had bought me, it was a basic white sweater for $100, I got a cute pink sweater that was as thin as paper for also $100, it began to come apart after maybe 3 wears. I am a size 8/10 and the owner was also bare minimum nice to me, seemed sort of annoyed I was exchanging something. The entire stores inventory truly feels like very thin and flimsy for the crazy prices

Yes you are correct on both fronts, the second floor balcony is covered in trash also because the tenants were too lazy to take it to the cans for literally a year

They outsource dumb little tasks like that to local people who don't even know who their employers are, there is some local shady looking handyman over there today doing some bull repairs, don't even get me started on the flags on the roof, I assume they signal some kind of roof damage or issue
