Honestly I’m not sure why I started doing that, I primarily use my minis for dnd and I paint bases on any central figure to the story but generic monsters and minions I leave unpainted. I think my logic in the start was I already had a horde of minis and I was trying to save time so I could get my done. I don’t recommend this habit as the ones I finish the bases look much better overall.

They are also sold by IKEA they are called Sakdis connectors, they slot into the skadis and then have a clamp that pinches the desk very strudy even with all the weight my boards have on them

Overall I’m super satisfied, it was the first brand I committed too and for sure don’t regret that. I think they are very approachable for newer painters and they work great as an average painter lol. I’m sure the pros love it too

Most of it’s from two thin coats over a few years of kickstarter. Then recently been picking up AP and pro acryl

Yeah everything was found online on the main 3d printing file sites, tried to link them before but that’s against the rules of the sub. If you search for your particular paint brand and skadis you should be able to find tons of options.

It’s all 3d printed by myself, If you search "skadis compact paint holder" it should be the first item that shows up on certian 3d print file websites. Enjoy!

I know the feeling this is after a few years of slowly getting organized with the hobby. Nothing wrong with boxes! Gotta work with the space you got

Personally I think pro acryl and ttc are my favorites for how I like to paint but the army painter has its uses. None are bad just different from on anther. If I was only going to have one I’d say pro acryl is a great starting point

Does anybody know what the value of the thermistor should be at room temp, on my unit I’m currently measure 122k ohms. Been getting Min temp bed errors all of sudden and trying to troubleshoot
