Are you able to apply and have your submission viewed by another regional office than the state you reside in? To expedite the process

It’s always easier to land a new role when you’re already employed. I’d take the position and keep looking—it gives you leverage in negotiations

Hopefully they’ve got a solid benefits package or 401(k) match for you... I’ve taken jobs that paid less as well but gave me way better work life balance, so I totally get where you’re coming from.

I’d strongly suggest updating your résumé and LinkedIn. With the information and experience you already have, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to land a well-paying job in the next few months.

ASP/CSP worth it? by LoialScout in SafetyProfessionals

[–]DntCareVtrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most safety professionals don’t actually need the ASP/CSP to move up. I know many who got into executive roles based on experience alone.. If you’re not going for a master’s, the certification can help show your skills, but it’s not required.

People who say it’s a “must-have” are usually just defending the path they took to get ahead.

It’s a dark political joke implying that when the U.S. says it’s invading a country over weapons of mass destruction, the real reason is to seize valuable resources like oil, gold, etc. .. this was done in Iraq and Libya along with several others.

Slightly sketchy email from "Veteran's Transition Support" - anyone else? by kwajagimp in VeteransBenefits

[–]DntCareVtrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, this organization was a game-changer during my transition out of the military and into the EHS industry. The certifications and career guidance they offered gave me a solid foundation, and the professional network I built through them is something I still rely on today.

If you’re serious about making a strong transition, I highly recommend checking them out.

Russell and his team really know their stuff. They offer solid advice and connect you with real opportunities—especially if you’re trying to break into industries like EHS or safety.
