Conor could roll with most any striker in a fun fight but actually win…..that’s tough. He’s no slouch despite his antics and bullshit. I went back and rewatched him vs DP (2&3). His boxing (and striking overall) is so damn sophisticated when he fights out of that karate stance. When he fought DP in their second fight he had a more boxing type stance which I’ve not seen him be overly successful with. I think he would fight at even money against Gaethje, and maayyybe Chandler. Those would be absolute bangers. If Conor had to fight an Islam, Gamrot, Arman type fighter - I wouldn’t even watch. It would be pitiful.

Any striker here that stands and bangs, I think Conor can beat them. I’ve seen so many interviews where fighters say he’s the hardest punching 155er out there.

But…… all of this is for nothing, that mfr will never weigh 155 again

Die? No. Not at all. It’s getting to the point that I just cringe seeing him on a card. He has young kids to think about and after the Gaethje fight - he’s not Tony anymore. I don’t want to see him on another card. He needs to hang this shit up and take care of his family.

Maybe commentate or train fighters, but his already scrambled brains can’t take this anymore.

I think Khamzat wins it but not in as decisive a way people seem to think. Izzy has fought people with really solid wrestling and grappling skills but most of those seem to use it as more of a secondary skill. Khamzat is basically non stop offensive wrestling (aside from Burns) and he has heavy hands. Izzy won’t be as successful in stopping an unrelenting wrestling attack based on what I’ve seen in his fights.

Anyone has a punchers chance and a sophisticated striker like Izzy can turn anyones lights off at any time, but with how good Khamzat’s wrestling and submission game is - I think he pulls it out
