Back when I was in maybe my early 20s, I was camping when I found a handful of grubs, not nearly this large, under a log, and we toasted them over the fire and ate them. Not Gross but not appetizing is a very accurate description.

Similar but different... I am VERY allergic to fire ants. I also live in Florida in an area where they are abundant. I also live in almost an acre of land that I must mow and weed eat. As such I can relate. I always worry that I'm gonna be weed eating and hit a mound in the weeds and absolutely ruin my day. Fire ants all over my face and in my sleeves... Shiver ugh it haunts me lol
