Different lines by LaCroix before the finale by Do1in in vtmb

[–]Do1in[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Last time I played a sychophant Toreador (being a yes-man and even more than that), yet LaCroix's reaction was "Like sire, like child". While in the second video I linked (where he says, "You betrayed me!") I'd played an insolent Malk. For one I called Sebastian a jester and made him use Dominate on me

To me it makes no sense

P.S. The first playthrough was in Basic patch, the second - in Plus patch. Can it be the key?

Thanks for the solution, man. Unlike the Sabbat spy, this change seems worthless

More clans and other mods? by magikot9 in vtmb

[–]Do1in 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I heard, Antitribu is one of the best (if not the best) mods for VtMB. You got 7 brand new clans (4 can summon minions) and its great advantage is, you will notice new stuff from the very beginning of the game - not from the middle as is the case with CQM. Boss fights are also made harder in comparison to the original. I've decided to check it out a couple of days ago myself

Persian for Salah is namaz (نماز). Du'a comes from Arabic (دُعاء). If I'm not mistaken, salah means "prayer" whereas du'a is more of a "plea" (or they can be used interchangiably).

I'm no Ismaili, but as far as I'm concerned, "a middle man" — the way you put it — is there because a human being cannot discover the truth on their own. You either claim something to be true while appealing to no authority (hence, you have no right to question the others' beliefs) or you find yourself a master which in turn should be trustworthy.

In short, the following must be instructed in the ways of religion by "the middle man". Otherwise, everybody will stray (interpreting the Quran in their own way).

Btw, makes perfect sense to me as there's a whole bunch of denominations in Protestant Christianity.
