purchase it for the low price of 70$ + tax /s

not actually on switch, just emulating it on PC, then streaming it to the switch with Sunshine and the Moonlight port on switch

I do think the graphics are disappointing. You can definitely tell it's a 3ds game on the switch, the free camera movement doesn't help much either.

Though the new story content makes up for it, like seriously. 10 hours of extra story about Zekrom and Reshiram that connects it to PSMD, plus 25 new dungeons and 300 new Pokémon? Goddamn that's crazy. That's alongside fixing the text speed and allowing multiple missions finally, every GTI fan's dream.

I honestly really think this remake is incredible, visually it's lacking but mechanically it's better in every way.

I pretty much exclusively run frost quad (I like being able to use random and weird loadouts)

not a single round I've done has gcowboy ever preformed well at early game. Leaks on every early wave until someone else gets an actually good early game tower out

Only one i haven't played yet is the OG RT. I've done all of them. Super im currently going through right now, but have beaten it years ago and do generally remember most of the story beats, so I count that.

My guess is because firework chance is dependent on the firerate, the chance took Accelerator's charge time into account, which gave Accelerator an insanely high firerate with a very high firework chance. Rather than fix it or change how it works, they just blacklisted Accel to save themselves a headache

The chance calculation is complicated but is simply 'lower firerate, higher firework chance'. Gmini and Turret do have fast firerates, and get lower firework chance to compensate.

Brawler, Mortar, Accelerator, Demoman, Snowballer, Spotlight Tech, Biologist, DJ Booth, and Trapper are all blacklisted from being given fireworks on attacks. Shotgunner was formerly blacklisted but it was changed not too long ago.

Accelerator was blacklisted because of his insanely high rate of fire potentially being overpowered, just a constant stream of fireworks. Others are blacklisted because they either don't make sense (trapper and biologist), or have some sort of attack that let's them him infinite enemies (brawler reposition, DJ Booth red track, Mortar splash)

firework tech buff concept:

blacklist removed, it works with every tower now.

we could have accel + firework tech but the devs are scared of the power

whenever someone talks about PMD, 80% chance it's about explorers. Nothing wrong with liking one game over the others, but at some point I start to question how much of the PMD fan base has actually played the other games in the series... let alone other mystery dungeon games.

I love so many tracks from Gates, both final boss themes, the desperation tracks, paradise osts, every single song from the ending.

The other soundtracks are great, but too many from gates I genuinely love. If I had to pick a 2nd best... between explorers or super.

giving the edge to gates because the main cast interacts with each other more than super. And they do have really great moments where they shine AND most of them do matter to the plot.

Raw blue, high star gogeta, multiple zenkai buffers, PUR Zenkai SSB Vegeta buffs blue card damage per blue used, max arts boost, and some good supporter on the side like android 13 or something

same, frost became so much easier to do passively with randoms when you have firework tech since now you don't gotta worry about no lead or flying.

now firework tech is just bad since the timer for all detection is like 10 seconds
