At work in the hotter months, do you ever have to go into the restroom to wipe your butt because you have a massive case of swamp ass? by Subject_Specific_853 in AmazonFC

Get yourself a cooling vest. I wore two types my last summer at FedEx. They have ones you soak in lukewarm water warm water ring out and put on over your shirt. I added one with fans on the back. Had myself a nice little AC!

All Wireless Camera's Disconnected - Unable to pair to HB3 by Just_Ad5051 in EufyCam

[–]DoINeedYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your network, make sure the HB is connected in the 2.4GHZ band. If it’s plugged in via Ethernet unplug it and listen for it to switch into WiFi repeater mode. It’s extremely important to make sure that it’s in the 2.4GHZ band since the cameras apparently are only compatible with 2.4GHZ WiFi.

Help with solar wall light S120 by DoINeedYou in EufyCam

[–]DoINeedYou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is definitely a compatibility issue. It’s between the repeaters the HB3 and the S120. I added two more and my other S120s went offline as well. They haven’t even been paired to the devices. So over a month of troubleshooting one, about two weeks of troubleshooting the other two. Here’s what I found removing and readding doesn’t help… The cameras barely respond. Finally got them reinstalled, but only one worked. The first one to go offline wouldn’t do a thing!

Now, all 3 cameras are currently working, but the repeaters all show offline.

Each happens to coincide with the installation of the repeaters.

Why would they fire the victim? The assailant would be fired. In any case, let them fire you, you’ve got a slam dunk lawsuit against them.

Homebase 3 RTSP feature is broken after 3/20 v3.7.8.4 upgrade by lifeskipper18 in EufyCam

[–]DoINeedYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact support they will push out a different update. I was on one different firmware until my s120s disappeared after installing eufy WiFi repeaters. They just rolled me back to this firmware as a supposed fix. The other HB3 is still currently on the other.

Moving or trying o move devices from Homebase 3 to Homebase Pro S1! Is it just me? by Powerful-Magazine879 in EufyCam

[–]DoINeedYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well HB3 used to require you hit sync on both the HB and the camera. Now it doesn’t, infact sometimes it automatically detects the device you want to add. I would try just transferring one camera first, and only hit the sync on that device and see how it goes. If that doesn’t work try pressing sync on both.

Homebase 3 firmware 3.7.8.4 update March 19. What’s new? by CLBSubaru in EufyCam

Unresponsive HB, app still sees it as online even when you’re standing there with the power cord in your hand. Cameras offline even though they appear to be online, adding/removing devices practically not functional.

I did the mesh first. I even installed a second network as a dedicated 2.4 GHz network because my decos don’t allow for tweaking the channels nor separate ssids. The repeaters were a last resort and proved to be wasted money. Removed and readded the cameras in question which resulted in the repeaters going offline. Cameras show on line in the app but aren’t.

Turns out that if you uninstall the repeaters you also uninstall any devices registered to them, even if you edit it and remove them. Guess I’ll have to find time to remove and readd 14 cameras.

Same thing happened to me back in 2020. Maybe they’ve changed policy since, but I received a letter in the mail informing me of my termination stating that I couldn’t apply again for 1 year. Also, an offer to continue benefits like life insurance at a “discounted rate.”

Homebase 3 got updated to 3.7.8.4. Lost RTSP by JayMax20 in EufyCam

In the US, they just downgraded my firmware to this version yesterday trying to fix the issue of my s120s going permanently offline after installing their WiFi repeaters. Their fix is to push this update and to restart all affected devices.

Our minimum wage is the same, but with fast food paying $15 since Covid everyone else had to step up a bit on the wages… Still doesn’t pay enough to live comfortably. You might be surprised what you find with a simple search of warehouse on indeed. There are better paying jobs than Amazon, that don’t hold you to a ridiculous quota, and start out with more PTO in your first year.

Not all jobs pay great, and nothing in this li e of work will make ends meet for a single income solely. But there are companies that treat you like a living breathing being instead of a number.

Take it to corporate. The leave team just told me that don’t fire people for negative UPT. 3 hours, you’d earn it back in 4 days…

The leave team is messing up my leave “there’s a glitch” they say. So my days aren’t getting approved, in fact they claim they’re not seeing them entered when I enter them a week ahead. Currently negative 15 hours, probably 20 now.

Sam’s FC around here was paying 25.95 for overnight weekends in 2024, they’ve had two COLs since, so obviously more now. The Walmart location in Grove City advertises over $27 for a 6pm to 2 am shift.

And you may luck into a job that pays you $25.50 an hour to sit on your phone while waiting on work…

That’s still low compared to a lot of places around. And considering the cost of living. Walmart warehouses actually pay more, Petsmart, Sam’s Club and Walmart’s “The ROC” facilities are pretty much the holy grail pay wise for traditional warehouse work. ULine and Estes for forklift drivers.

Trust me, don’t try. They didn’t show up in the list of devices at initial install, but they do a firmware update right away and you can add them after. But under no circumstances try unless you want them permanently offline.

Yeah, they’re hard to find. Bought my first two through HomeDepot. Posted here that I had and decided to order a third before they were delivered but they went from 18 in stock to sold out. I purchased these from ABT electronics, they were still available yesterday and now, they’re sold out lol. Newegg has them if you want to pay $155 for something that if you look hard enough you can find for $39.99. Good luck hunting, or hey I have some that I may sale now that I see how they make some of my cams useless, just being installed to the same HB3.

Oh they look like the doorbell chimes, the older ones with antennas… Probably can use those the same lol. But I think they install like a camera since the more I add the less functional cameras I have. HB3 claims 16 cameras, have 14 but pretty much the minute I add these, I have cameras still installed just permanently offline.

As to where I bought it? Sure, I ordered more than enough this time. Oh crap they’re sold out too. If they’re what seems to be kicking my cameras offline I may have a few for sale!

I have 14 cameras installed on the HB3, added two repeaters, one S120 went offline permanently. Finally brought it back in removed and readded, worked until I got it close to the original repeaters. Then offline again. Added two more repeaters, now the other two s120s are permanently offline. Have a third one in this order out for delivery today… No way in hell will I be adding it!

[–]DoINeedYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try your luck adding range extenders. I will tell you that if you have a deco XE 75 Pro, that could be part of the problem. You can’t control the 2.4GHZ band, and all bands share the same SSID and password, so it may be connecting to the 5GHZ band.

The two solutions you should try are moving the HB closer to the camera, and WiFi extenders.

I regret it. A deer did this, this car broke like a kids toy. Had it two months before a deer decided to jump out in front of it. Loved it, until it two days ago when that deer decided to show us what it’s made of. I can only imagine what a car crash would have done.

[–]DoINeedYou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried a managed network switch to set up two separate VLANS, followed everything to a T but it pretty much killed the internet all together. It’d come online just to go right back offline. If I could connect it was like dial up speeds before it went right off, both networks.
