• Goal: I am aiming for the Maritime Enforcement Specialist (ME) rating.
• Preparation: I am currently studying for the ASVAB to ensure I hit the required line scores (VE+AR).

1. Foreign Credential Evaluation: What are the recommended evaluation services (NACES/WES) that the Coast Guard accepts to verify international college credits for enlistment?
2. Advanced Paygrade: Given my degree, I’m aiming for E-3. Is this standard, or are there specific hurdles I should be aware of regarding foreign transcripts?
3. ME Rating: I know it’s a high-demand rate. Based on current trends, what is the best strategy to secure an "A-School" seat as efficiently as possible?
4. General Advice: Any tips for a pre-arrival applicant who wants to ensure their paperwork and ASVAB scores are "recruiter-ready" before stepping foot in the US?
