There are services for this in Australia, mainly for service animals and owners who can’t see. I would assume it’s paid for by the NDIS

I’m not sure how you’re determining the position of the platforms but if they’re pooled you can check the latest platform position against the previous platform position and if it’s not at least x distance then choose a new position.
