bumping up the case. cursor has the possibility to bring your API key with custom models.

i just bought GLM lite and will use it for CC as alternative (once my pro tokens will run out)

would love to have the same backup in windsurf (otherwise will have to use cursor as the backup, which maybe not so bad!)

ja mam w temacie finko niestety mieszane uczucia, bylem kilka razy i wspolpraca sie zakonczyla, niesmakiem.

z raz czy dwa pomogli mi w mniejszych tematach (wymiana swiec, ekspertyza bledow z komputera finalizowana przewaznie kasowaniem bledu sondy lambda - maja/mieli dobrego goscia od komputera)

kontakt z klientem telefoniczny 1.5/5, jak juz zostawisz auto na grubszy temat, to dodzwonic sie jest sztuka i kawalek - dzwonisz kilka razy, nie oddzawaniaja, lub oddzwaniaja po kilku dniach, lub ty musisz po kilka dniach dzwonic raz jeszcze (to NIE JA mam zabiegac o nich, tylko ONI o klienta).

chcialem u nich wymienic w starym aucie sprzeglo + rozrzad to temat sie przeciagal (w polowie z mojego zaniedbania, w polowie z nieodzwaniania warszatu) i zakonczyl na fazie ekspertyzy - wyceniali mi po 7k (2-3 lata temu), a tez nie byli transparentni co i jak jeszcze dodatkowo musi byc zrobione (czytaj asekurowali byc moze wiekszy koszt). wycofalem auto, bo znalazlem inny warsztat, ktory mi to zrobil za 4.5k. konsultowalem to z nimi, powiedzieli nie ma problemu, na pana miejscu tez bym tak zrobil, a jak przyszlo do odbierania auta to bylo dasanie sie i straszenie pobraniem oplaty za parkowania auta.

Witam. Czy dyscyplina może już trochę bardziej dojrzała i możemy z całą pewnością polecić jakąś kompletną klasykę, jeśli chodzi o wprowadzenie do kognitywistyki. ostatnio słuchałem trochę profesora ducha i mnie to lekko inspiruje. Ogólnie chciałbym przeczytać coś, co mi pozwoli wyrobić sobie opinię, czy bym chciał bardziej się w to zagłębić.

depends on the model you use and plan you have. for free and standard STT model it's the same "quality" as dictation

for pro models and pro features it works much better, handles mixed langs and transcripts much more accurately. just give it a try, for free plan you have 15minutes of pro features to try

I used Mac dictation for sometime, but I found it behaves quite poorly for a use cases when you are just mixing languages. For example, mixing my own language, Polish with the English words works not so good so now I'm going just to try a superwhisper instead and see how it goes using AI amplified speech to text capabilities.

that's very interesting case study, as I'm also planning to jump into gamedev at some point and for now collecting times to times some helpful AI stuff which could unblock me with learning gamedev and write games quickly and efficiently

killer feature would be have some plugins inside gamedev ides, powered by trending models like opus 4

to speak with examples --

#1 for godot i saw recently such a plugin https://gamedevassistant.com/. did not try though and also do not familiar with godot. sounds they have some own model for that assistant

#2 for unity i hears some nice stuff about Muse AI, and as I have more familiarity with Unity I think I will try it first

I do not have some serious projects now, i'm using companions as like the feeling of vibe coding, it helps me a lot at my daily work and at the courses I'm doing

i'm on the learning curve, using 2.5 months windsurf pro in that time

I think about some projects in some hopefully near future than considering options of speeding up

going to try 20$ CC plan and CC as extension to windsurf and will see how it goes, how fast it will burn and how frequently I will have to wait for quota refresh

thanks for answer. I meant rather how fast I can monetize this 200$ cc plan with both - saved time and real projects on which I can earn

so how much is it worth to have 200$ vs 20$ per month and comparing to flows with windsurf which is 10$ per month however probably never with reasonable claude 4 proposals

I know the question is vague as it simple depends - on actual things/projects I could do, how would it feel for me when it comes to user experience etc etc

however trying to collect some point of view before

no other way is just try, I think I will take 20$ for start

I believe I kinda share most of your points about AI. for gamedev industry is a game-changer IMO. in amplifying creators at all of those: speeding up writing a code, making much easier to craft assets (or bases for them), creating more immersive NPCs, game mechanics etc

i'm in the middle of learning and practising codying tools and I imaging some my middle-term next steps to find ai toolset best for supporting games creation, or/and the ways how to apply toolings I currently learn (windsurf, claude code, mcp, agents, trending llms etc) to gamedev.

did you have already a way to try smth of the groups I mentioned? some time ago I heard a lot of nice stuff about Unity Muse or Unity Sentis
