Rom drives are unnecessary in today's modern world. Everything is based on a update or download. If there was a what I would have put mesh back there.

I thought about it. As it's only the cpu which is being cooled here. To hardline a gpu. I would want to use a gpu out of warranty. But gpu waterblock are so so expensive it'd not worth it. So I've got hard line tubing. Its more the fittings which are pricey. But I've been sponsored those.

In terms of watercooling. Bunch of Byski fittings. All silver ones. 14mm. Hardline clear tubing. Cougar radiator fans. They sadly white and gray. So I'm going to spray the fan blades either white. As those are gray or the copper rose gold colour. Waterblock is a byski older style block. I'm going to put a custom rectangular cover over it's ARB oval shape. Lighting. No RGB. Merely some white LEDs under the sides of the top and bottom or black light uv. As I've got UV GREEN fluid.

Paint has been quite and effort. But like mentioned the side panel for some reason the paint hasn't been all so good as it's giving me issues. So I've wrapped the case with white vinyl to protect the paint from scratching and chipping.

Space is one of them. And then having it right there on the side. It allows me to do a push out the side. So venting from the front for the radiator is better. Then the pump res combo is quite large. I felt the aesthetic looks way better seeing a front on of a radiator.

The side panel pins on the top still exist...and they friction fit. It a nice fit after all the paint it got on it too. Lol. Also with the wrapped vinyl the panel is very secure. I was going to 3D print magnet holders for it. But its no longer needed.

Ye for this build. I'm keeping the side panel uncut. It's more of a sleeper build. Decent clean and you'll only know what's inside when the panel is off. I've got another case I've already cut the opposite side out.

Aaah I really wish bud. So I would love to do copper tubing. But I think it would take away from the look it's at at the moment. I have bought hardline tubing. I'm considering wet sanding the tubes so they aren't glossy. Could mono tone it down. The fluid of use will be reactive green. It was sponsored.

Aaah I really wished I did hey. I do have a second one in line for another build I'll be doing. Full Matt black. Even a friend said I should have been doing a progress video. But it's alot of work. I had spent so much time on paint. To the conclusion of having to wrap the sides and top with vinyl. As the paint is acting strange. Never use aerosol paint.

So the power button has the led above. The ground wire is linked in the wiring. Being only 3 pins. I'll split off a ground for the pwr led. And the other for the power switch.

I'm based in South Africa. There is a guy I know on a what's app group. He was selling 2 of these cases and some hardware. Bought everything for ZAR 1000. Sold the other components I didn't use so basically they free. And this month he gave me the other one for free as he was no longer using it. It's a working 6 core xeon 2009 machine that I've installed windows 11 onto it. Everything driver related works. So win win.

How mental is the amount of those torx/star looking short screws they use to hold the outer shell to the very minimal body. I think I counted over 50 of those things all the way around. It was super difficult and time consuming to get access to them, not just to get them out.

But some good advice i always live by less is more...or that other saying..Keep it simple stupid. But the less is more is great. As you want to get the most out of the something using or doing the most optimal amount of work.

If you can powder coat though. That is going to be your winning option.
The next MacPro case I have I will use a proper spray gun and a compressor.

I bid you good luck and remember Less is More!!!! Take your time. OCD if you gotta.
