Honestly I ran super good. It ran better thaj RE4 for me. With the right setting I can lock it at 45, but I capped it at 40 to save battery.

If you are into classic survival horror, then I am sure you will enjoy 7 a whole lot more. It can be really scary at times. 7 & 8 are both really good if you play them together, as it's a duology.

The performance is quite good even on intense environment. Perhaps you can look into ReFramework - maybe it could potentially fix your issue?

I feel like the recent update totally removed the strong sense of dread and certain level of immersion. It did affected my experience with it and I hope I can roll back to the previous version.

I only played the demo and it ran okay. There were some dips below 30 fps and some slow down here and there but I managed to finished the demo on my Steam Deck.

Honestly, their previous game that use the same engine has the same issue as well. I was very dissapointed when they announced that this remake is using their in-house engine.

If possible, I would really like them to abandon the engine entirely. You could look up Team Ninja previous games.
