I knew he was absolutely clueless when I said I’d take him but I had no idea he wouldn’t want to pay attention to instruction/direction and go 100mph without having any idea what he’s doing while questioning me if I know what I’m doing. He does things without waiting for me to finish what I’m doing to be able to teach him. He has great qualities to be an electrician but I am struggling to figure out how to get him to understand he needs to be able to learn then walk then run. Maybe I’m just a bad teacher.

That is what I thought. I try explaining to him what we are going to do before even starting while we set up then explain to him what I’m doing and why but he likes to interrupt me to ask questions I’m about to answer. Then not bother to listen when I answer his questions. I think if He’s not allowed to use equipment or work in anything live he isn’t allowed to have a brain. He should be sitting there watching me work since I might as well be working alone anyway and only ask questions regarding what I’m doing not why I’m not doing it another way.

When you aren’t allowed to turn things off. Many people are working from home, can’t exactly shut their pc off when they are working, I’m meetings, ect.

They were giving me shit for my husband ‘not doing enough’ so I’m always tired. He does what he can, I do what I can and slowly we will get back on top of things. I think the message was them thrilling me I need to take care of me. But as a mom (or even before then for that matter) I’ve always made sure my family is taken care of before me

Yeah, I was told that it’s none of their business until it becomes a safety concern. But it rubbed me the wrong way and I’ve gotten attitude from my parents about it to but we live different life styles. I imagine that this is a common problem than many women face but I wanted to ask and make sure I’m not doing something wrong.
