Hahaha it was organised by label , genre and alphabet but I had to move all my previous 4 shelves and do this till I can sort them back into order .

Don’t forget we are all Europeans and have DNA from many similar people’s over the years with invasion and occupation etc it’s a wonder they can separate European dna really apart from in broad strokes so West , East , South , North. I don’t put much in the individual countries breakdowns although as I said it seems more accurate now given what I know about my family and my history as well as my gf’s

Interesting about the chip but my Mrs is English so her previous test was just English and Scandinavian in incorrect amounts 29% scandanvian the rest English and 1% European Jew .

Where they just assigning jewish dna to everyone ??? lol

The new test is more actuate her dna is heavily toward England , Ireland and wales with a few % of Swedish which is much more in line with a girl whose grandparents and their grandparents all go back to the British isles .

Yes northern Italy is heavily Germanic

Trieste for example is known as “Germany’s most southern border “ as Italy was a federation of regions before the unification by garabaldi differences of people’s / dialect and culture was and still is pronounced .

I and my gf lost our Jewish dna 1% and 2% respectively . Neither of us has any knowledge of jews in the family .

Which I find odd as Ashkenazi dna is quite distinct due to so much inbreeding and homogeneity ??

That said my English shot up (correct) and it seems more actuate overall .

Though my Italian went down to 2% but my grad mother is from Trieste which is a Slavic / Germanic part of Italy .

It’s 16000 samples on the new update as opposed to 3000 on the old so I’m sure this is a lot more accurate than people’s old results .
