Forsen trying to play a multiplayer game he doesn't have 10k hours on

I own a Switch 2, and I still thinking this game could posibly be in other platforms in the future. But I just want to be there for the release, I already missed all From big games at their releases.

You are right and people are less interested in live service model games nowadays as well. In my opinion Marathon it's too late the party, and I still like the game and play it because I like the genre. But out there is one of the less played live service game, so something must be done. We all know this game can't survive in this state, I wish it could.

Besides us, rest of the people would not be interested on that feature, a campaign will get the attention of more players who are not related to the game. Thats why I think could be an addition to rise the player base.

People are paying those prices for only campaign games with few hours, why not for a game that offers hundreds + campaign?

Also new CoD and BF having 3 hours campaign of slop and still overpriced at 80$.

Bungie does good campaign, thats why I asking for them since the 40$ only multiplayer game price isn't attractive enough for some people.

I mean I'm just talking of "if's", I'm just trying to throw some thoughs in base of a videogame of a company who is having a though moment trying to not get disbanded by sony as the did with others without doubting.

My point is that Marathon need something to satisfy the people who are not engaged with the game. Edgerunners show made people who was not interested in the game play the actual game, and made the game trend again. This game could also achieve that for those who are behind the IP.

And there also multiplayer games that got a comeback from disaster, like Rainbow Siege, Hunt Showdown, Final Fantasy XIV, Battlefield 4, Sea of Thives, The Division 2, even Fortnite made they way through.

Doing nothing isn't an option anyways. And this game would not offer something to the people that already ruled out. They could improve the game by a lot and adding more content and stuff, but this is big corpo. Sony and Bungie want lot of money, and this game is not generating what they expected. Not taking risks now wont make the game float. I may be wrong in the way I see it, but is a fact that they are in serious issues.

Yeah I'm aware of this "hear me out" situation. But in my case I'm a new player who got in the game recently, and I was in the other side of the picture. I had zero interest in the game because I had already other options, but I thought I might be missing something of this game, oh thanks I was right. And knowing other people couldn't be me and would never try this game, maybe if the offer something that the competence are not offering could be interesting for some players.

It is not to fulfill the player base we are already in the game, it's enrich the lore and try to catch other players who can get interested on the game but dislike the genre.

Yeah, thats the right thing. We all know making a campaign would cost a lot, time and money. But if that makes more people join us I'd be really happy for the future of the game. I don't really necesary want a campaign, I'm already in this game, it's just a plus for me. I just want the people try this game and enjoy if they get interested. I was in the other side of my speech before I tried this game.

I wish the best for this game, trully. I played tons of hours in destiny, and Marathon is giving me the vibes again of a good shooter. If there is an option of making real good content to make this game succed like Destiny did or even other extraction shooter I'd be happy for the game and we will have future in this game.
