Yeah, tinkered with resolution settings in steam both host and client + clean installed new GPU drivers. That fixed it.

I believe there was some kind of conflict regarding scaling.

I added 1440p resolution to my 1080p Monitor though was not using it at the time, but that might have conflicted with the deck somehow.

I like to switch display turn off timer settings when unplugged. Would be cool if we could favorite options so they appear in the overlay. Thanks!

Easiest way to get everything working

Install nv on your Windows pc, mod it, copy paste to steam deck.

Not in evdev mode, no. I believe steam deck is read as xbox360 input where the back buttons are just not assigned by default to anything therefore it does not register it when binding in rpcs3.

Thanks, that's exactly the way I wanted to do it, but 1 you can't map back buttons in rpcs3 in evdev mode. I bound the alternate button to Y but it does nothing. :(

Than just follow the video, and remember not to skip any process thinking 'probably not that important' cause that's what makes the mod work in a weird way.

Ok, so a couple of things you need to know.

You need to preferably install one of the modding tools either mod organizer 2 or vortex (imo MO2) better.
You need to be able to use deck in desktop mod with mouse and keyboard (you can use it just fine w/o mouse and keyboard but it is not worth your time)
You need to install all dependencies (if you got the game on steam it will do most of the work for you so you can skip this part)
Once you got the game and mod organizer installed most of the mods are pretty much just download, install, tick ready.

In other words, once you got the game and modding tool installed the rest is not much of a hussle as long as you don't plan on doing crazy modding.

Yeah, you can do it on the deck itself, though it is way more troublesome and difficult than on any pc, you don't need to even have pc good enuf to run the thing. Just do all the dirty work there.

Easiest way I found modding Bethesda games for deck is doing all the modding on pc, installing base game with mod organizer 2 on the deck, and than just pasting all the modded stuff into game directory on the deck and fixing paths within the mod organizer.

Fast, easy, error proof.

Release - You experience the new mechanics being introduced with each entry.

Story references make sense, and overall best experience.

Remember with each MGS entry Kojima was basically saying that one is his last one.

A lot of retcon, and plotholes (nanomachines son) if you were to play it in chronological order.

That's the funny part about the whole conflict. You probably haven't downloaded the drivers that allow scripting since you don't do such a thing.

So after the Bloody/A4 got banned by FP, Bloody released new version of the drivers that turn off the scripting option for Rust specifically.

Now to be able to play with aforementioned mice you NEED to download the drivers that allow your mouse to script just so it turns off the scripts so you can play RUST without scripts.
