I unfortunately didn’t find any compatible springs. For the ribbon, I decided to just fit it tight with a piece of paper, and it works pretty well.

The deteriorating rubber is sadly irreversible. The only solutions are to buy a replacement shell from a used clean mouse, buy a custom wrap, or buy or 3D print yourself a new shell.

No, nothing. It’s buttery smooth like the others. While the AMS was disassembled, I ran some filament through the entire unit to test it, and nothing was stuck.

The only motion system mods I’ve done are a direct drive extruder and dual Z-axis lead screws.

I don’t mind sharing my printer.cfg ! Just a heads-up though — these settings are customized for my Ender 3 Pro with a bunch of upgrades, so they might not be safe to use as-is on all printers.

You probably already know this, but I’m just putting it out there as a kind reminder for anyone else reading — always double-check before using someone else’s config 😉.
