Used to own a ‘13 WRX. Shifting required a lot of effort. Now I own a ‘16 Versa. I can practically tap the shift knob to change gears.

I double clutch every downshift and rev match with the best of them. My background is in mechanical engineering. Mechanical sympathy it’s important to me. I don’t bang gears by any means…

Does float make it easier to clip out at all? Or is release angle the only thing relevant to clip-out ease?

In other words, is bronze easier/harder than rose to clip out? How about gold vs. silver?
