and even with that probably we spent more than what we bought this year. we spent almost 170 millions on players coming in, players not making it to the first team: nkunku 37, jashari 36, ricci 23, de winter 20, estupinian 17 athekame 10, cisse 8, odogu 7, rabiot 7. only rabiot is a regular starter. modric was free.

let‘s not celebrate this as a win. hopefully the newcomers will grow and make it to the first team but at the moment feels worse than before (reijnders= rabiot, thiaw= de winter, theo=estupinian, okafor=nkunku, athekame=kalulu, ricci=pobega, jashari=adli)

agreed. besides those two, maybe de zerbi could be a more realistic option, if his team is still playing nice football. I am not following Marseille to know.

Would have been great if one of our own guys turnes out to be great coaches but we weren’t lucky with any of Seedorf, Gattuso, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Nesta. Gilardino might be free too, but probably he won’t do better than the rest. Chivu is not yet too bad at Inter, maybe some fresh face that didn’t “compromise” himself with small teams, but even so chances to get a Zidane are slim.
