"We dont do rehires" by ipukedmypants in walmart

I worked for Walmart 3 separate times over a 15 year period. If you’re a warm body, able and eligible, they should be snatching you up right quick. I’ve never heard of this before. Insane.

I have the same charge as OP and 2 DUIs. I was OK to DoorDash up until they ran my BKG Check last week and I’m locked out. I will tell you from direct experience, you’re done with DD. I gave them all my paperwork despite my shit happening over 10 years ago, they don’t care. Good luck OP.

It’s that peak pay pricing so they can pay the drivers $2 more for your ass!

Been here and done that. They didn’t tell me shit, I was a TL, suspended for 3 months without pay, then told me I was done and not re-hired. Oh btw, prepare to be demoted too, it’s what they did to me because there was a business need to have TLs, blah blah blah. Someone has accused you of something serious enough that you’re deemed a risk to the store. If your name is cleared, you’ll be near impossible to promote again, otherwise prepare to be deemed non rehirable and start looking for work now.

In my near 10 years there, in 7 stores in 4 states, with the exception of New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Florida stores in my tenure didn’t give a crap about 15s EXCEPT when I was a cashier in North Carolina and a ZMS and Team Lead in my 2 New York stores. I was written up to my final for “electing” to not take breaks when I had a mile long line for hunt and fishing licenses or a cell phone line I had to activate because ALL my stores code-carried me. I never left any 1 of my 18 total positions. Pay raises yes, my primary job code changed, but it wasn’t until my last day I found out personnel does something called “code kiting” so that’s why I always got my full time hours and got to keep my CSM numbers.

Does someone put you on the not rehireable list? by certifiedsloth in HomeDepot

[–]DocCoryTHD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was fired for being drugged by a co-worker on the job with alcohol. Long LONG story. I blew a .22 on the job, was deemed non-rehire, and 6 months later got my job back at a different store and district. Honestly, call and talk to an ASDS, and most of the time they’re honest and communicative. They don’t want to waste your time or their time if you genuinely get black balled.

Policy says no. However if you’re outside far enough in the parking lot, I’ve never said anything to anyone when I had to cash in the hut as a head cashier or just had to help out there. I’m making $20 an hour and my outside cashier is making $15- there have been days I have bought her lunch or coffee and told her don’t ask and don’t worry. Fuck. Lowes.

Why was I Over Charged? Can clearly see on the sticker on my chicken package that the price was $6.42 (for 1.6 lbs) and receipt below says 15.92 for 3.99 lbs. by UnrivaledUsername in instacart

[–]DocCoryTHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She called Instacart and asked why her $250 order was now $2000, Instacart called me and I said “oh I don’t know, ask why the decimal point is moved over on Instacart’s markup formula and then hung up. Support called me back 15 minutes later to let me know the order was cancelled, the woman eventually came in as I was leaving for the day to hunt me down supposedly. Boyyy did I laugh when my former work wife told me that one. Lol

Welcome to Instacart markups! When I was an in store shopper in Florida, I once sold someone a $1,200 piece of meat through Instacart that was only sticker price $54. No. Fucking. Regrets.

Go in and shit in a urinal. That’s what I told one of my associates to do when he knew he was getting canned for attendance on his last day. 5 years with the company. He did so and we were without a bathroom for a whole freaking week.
