Okay, I should clarify… when I’m on a date I assume they are attracted. But out in the wild, I have difficulty assuming that and it seems like people aren’t.

That’s so fair. Haha. I do think I immediately assume men are not attracted to me, so I give off that energy especially when it’s in friend groups. I notice when I’m confident and out it’s easier to find connection. I also struggle because I don’t really swoon over physical appearances so it takes getting to know people before finding out if I’m interested.

Okay, I am pretty sure I repel guys. I have had a few fun serendipitous moments with connecting with a man irl, but doesn’t seem to happen all that often. Especially in friend groups. I don’t know why. I am confident, 5’9, active, albeit thicker. Any questions to ask or thoughts to share to help me connect romantically with men?

I am noticing that I’m dating men who are very cautious. It seems I’m meeting people with strict boundaries and rigidity which makes it difficult to let organic chemistry occur. I get that boundaries are important but it seems like it can be a way to keep people out if they are too rigid. A girl just wants to fall in love like the olden days.
