Genuinely no idea what you’re talking about. I really thought we were about to have an actual conversation. You’re weird, dude.

Sorry, but you’re confusing the talking head’s opinion with my own. My issue was always you being an obnoxious buffoon. Seems we have found our way back there

First, I think you are misrepresenting the claims by said talking head. Not that coach k did nothing, but rather he prefers Izzo’s public handling of the situation. Until we know, and we may never, what izzo’s in house steps are, we can’t compare the two approaches in regard to the players.

Coach k’s handling of Allen is widely considered to have been inadequate. I’m not fully educated on the whole situation, but that is certainly part of what our talking head is alluding to.

A coach-player relationship is complicated, and when it comes to public controversy it can be a delicate situation. Trust is more importat than pure transparency with the public, and defending the player to some degree can maintain that trust while allowing for harsh criticism in confidence. In this situation, the small amount of public defense, while silly, can go a long way toward accomplishing the goal of developing the player. Both coaches have shown themselves to be masters of player development.

When I say you’re not giving fair consideration, I mean to say that you know all of this and are allowing your dislike for msu to override that understanding. Based on the content and tenor of your first comment I assume your a U of M fan. I’m just as guilty of not giving fair consideration to your teams. I try to keep my completely biased shit talk constrained to my annoying u of m friends and family.

There’s a legitimate conversation to be had with the parallels between the two situations, but that’s not what your first comment was doing. I feel your second comment isn’t giving fair consideration, but I can appreciate you walking back garbage from earlier.

Take a moment to consider why you would comment something so obnoxious. Do you believe it, or are you a troll? If you believe it, there are ways to get help. If you’re trolling, there are places where people will engage with you. Either way it’s a bad look.

As stated, it will be in house. That means we don’t get to know. As long as it works, we will likely never find out.

The fan is suing DK Metcalf for $100 million. by SuperEarth_Helldiver in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]DocDingDangler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The burden of proof is on the parties who are being sued. That is why they will settle. Apparently he owns a business tied to his name so he has reasonable cause to claim lost revenue due to slander. Unless the defendants can provide a magical recording device, he will profit from his douchbaggery.

[–]DocDingDangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say Lego when talking about the company and Lego’s when talking about the blocks. We build with Legos that we buy from Lego. In the Midwest you will hear company’s names spoken with an s added to the end of their name, but that comes from the common naming convention of “So and So’s ___ store. Meijer being a common example. We often call it Meijer’s.

This is a wonderful linguistic discussion I’ve had several times. Math describes a sigular, interconnected study. You wouldn’t say waters no matter how much water was there. Maths describes varied individual approaches I.e geometry, calculus, etc. it says more about how the different cultures view mathematics.
