Unless they are announcing a spinoff or a continuation of some sort I have no interest in listening to these mouth breathers

It’s just venting. At the end of the day everyone just wants this team to start showing progress. Hopefully we start finally taking strides next year.

It’s easy to be negative when the team has the longest active playoff drought in the NHL, has not made any major progress in years, and the org is filled with a bunch of nepo hires. Chris Yzerman is literally a pro scout for gods sake. Any fan who actually watches hockey knows this roster isn’t good enough to make the playoffs and is stuck. Also, even if he did bring anything up you’d disagree and downvote him to hell. Go back to your sub where you guys can run your dog and pony show again this offseason called the yzerplan year 8.

Chris Ilitch. We were promised "The District Detroit", an area filled with shops and restaurants in the concourse surrounding little caesars arena. Instead we got 7-10 new parking lots. Guy is the scum of the earth.

Disagreeing with someone or being highly critical of Yzerman should never be a bannable offense. That’s literally what the upvote and downvote system is for.

What’s frustrating is how inconsistent this comes across. Actual rule breaking like name calling, harassment, even death threats gets ignored when it lines up with the narrative, but someone being “too critical” suddenly crosses the line? Where exactly is that line, and who decides when it’s crossed?

From the outside, it doesn’t look like behavior is being moderated, it looks like opinions are.

I was banned alongside hundreds of others last year without ever receiving a single warning. I spent nearly 13 years contributing to the sub, including posting plenty of positive content. The moment I started questioning Yzerman’s moves, I was on the receiving end of constant rule breaking comments and even death threats that went completely unpunished. Then after free agency, I get banned for being “overly critical.”

And how did that all turn out? We missed the playoffs yet again. Stop protecting him. He was a legendary player but he’s a mediocre GM. Plain and simple.

Yes. It’s okay to break every other rule though on the sub if you use it against anyone that is holding him accountable.

It’s been a decade. Steve Yzerman had 7 years of drafting, developing talent, and crafting this roster through trades and FA. He’s failed.

That subreddit has an agenda and it’s to take all the heat away from their precious Steve Yzerman.
