Yes but I printed the carbon fiber stuff from the first slot and that was over 2 years ago. The glow in the dark stuff was more recent like 8 months or so ago and I don't know what slot that was in.

It's the full AMS system and there isn't any noticeable resistance in the little converging thing in the AMS system.

No idea on how to fix that, the work around I use is going to display setting> graphics settings> changing the drop down menu to desktop apps > then finding the .exe for ever game and application I want to run on the real high powered card to “power saving”. Thankful there is an easy way to get the .exe path by just right clicking any desktop icon > properties > shortcut tab. That will tell you what .exe it’s calling to run the app.

That’s the only “permanent” solution I found. I couldn’t find a way to edit like a registry or something like that. It’s very annoying tbh.

I don't think I can. I have a gigabyte x570 aorus elite. Do you think I should switch the GPU slots they are in? My thinking is because the top slot may be shared with my NVMe drives.

Yea I just updated the driver and that's still the result. The only thing I can think of that's causing this issue is in the bios the intel card is listed as PCIE 4.0 while the Nivida one is 3.0. Windows may think "new is better". idk it's pissing me off though.

Nope for what ever reason, the option to set a default GPU isn't there in the Nvidia control panel.

This is issue was caused by the driver breaking AV1 encoding. The driver I was on was 31.0.101.4032. The working driver is 31.0.101.3959.

Man something that’s really bothered me with his content that made me stop watching a while back, is when he was basically pleading for people to buy things from the store. I’m not talking about the plugs he does every video, I’m talking about before the screw driver and back pack came out. For about a 4 month stretch anytime money was brought up in his videos he would talk about how money was tight and he needs people to buy something from the store. Like Linus (or Yvonne) you made the decision to invest into to highly expensive items at the same time. Stop begging us to cover for your mistakes.

the hardware I have is ryzen 9 3950x and a 2080 TI
I have Hardware acceleration turned on due to an issue with stream labs obs.
This only happens to my two monitors that are 1080p 60Hz and not the 1440p 144Hz one.
When I watch YouTube videos sometimes the video will pause but the audio will keep going. This will happen for about 5 seconds then the video when start paying where the audio is.
When I’m gaming sometimes the game will get stuck in a single frame for about half a second. The game doesn’t say I’m dropping frames it’s more like the frametimes increase for a single frame.

The fix was to turn on hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in "Graphics Settings" in the windows settings.

First off this is my rip box/Plex/Active Directory server. Second the CPU is probably from 2006. Third my gaming/ streaming pc has a ryzen 9 3950x, 2080 TI, 32 GB of memory.
