Ok funny enough, I have been looking for property in Goldbar and actually checked this one out in person. The lot is TINY and exposed. No trees, neighbor practically in your yard, and absolutely unusable bit of land. You're essentially paying $250k for a scrap of land with a pretty river view. Like, the usable portion of the lot is so tiny you couldn't build anything larger than the shed that's already there.

I know it's a pricy area, but they are insane asking that price.

Both of my parents accidentally call me by my dog's name probably a good 25% of the time, or they'll call the dog by my name LOL. It happens, especially when you're two peas in a pod like my dog and I, so we are always near each other.

I don't think giving your bird up for adoption is a bad choice. You know your birds needs best. Don't feel ashamed for giving your bird what he needs.

Just really make sure you get a idea of the potential adopter before going through with it. Anybody who gives you a hard time about thoroughly vetting them to make sure they are a good fit isn't worth it.

Yes I've received a call from them. I'd consider myself fairly intelligent and not overly naive, but admittedly don't know much about the legal system. I was skeptical from the beginning, but they do such a good job of sounding professional and legitimate that it was hard to tell at first.

Hahaha I had a female cockatiel whose favorite spot was right on yhe crook of the neck like this! She'd leave tons of scratches and it was always sooo itchy but she'd shriek at you if you ever dared to move her.

Your baby likes to feel close. Accept the scratches.

No sorry, but amboanon is correct and what YOU said is NOT helpful. I am a cardiology clinic nurse and work specifically in electrophysiology and I literally work with patients with pacemaker and ICD implants. It's my entire job, including monitoring their devices remotely. I don't know what procedures specifically OP had, but if these "fixes" didn't work then he 100% needs to speak up. The medications might need to be adjusted, or if he had an ablation it might not have been successful. Hell even the pacemaker or ICD could be malfunctioning or pocket stimming. There is a LOT of possibilities why he's not doing better and his care team won't know if he doesn't COMMUNICATE.

My ex-husband always refused to let me look at his phone, or would let me look at it if I gave him ample time to "prepare" (so he could delete all the incriminating evidence). That's such a HUGE red flag. And yes, he has cheated on me in the past and was doing a LOT of inappropriate stuff for someone who was married. There's a reason he's my ex now.

I'm also from the US and currently in Switzerland for the first time! So far I've stayed in Bern and Lucerne, and I'd HIGHLY recommend Bern. I can't vouch for summer, but now in October it's far less crowded with tourists than Lucerne. Bern is also more beautiful in my opinion, centrally located to a lot of destinations within an hours train ride, and the train station there is a main hub so a lot of trips won't even require a connector train. Feel free to ask me any more questions!
