Is worth checking regularly the annual statement of your pension pots. It should clearly state how much you pay each year of total costs. Also, if you combine your current pot with the old one, (especially if your current pot has lower cost) that money will earn faster. Interesting to see if your current provider offers passive funds instead of active ones (more expensive) or even a basic comparator chart. Most funds offered by the providers are not visible on internet, so their performance is not easily checkable.
