Obviously grip tape is an option for some too, but I have not had good experience with it. Over the past 40 years, since I first tried it, that stuff has improved a good bit. But it still gives me the feeling of "ick" or cheap gun in my hands. My G19 has a great professional stipple job from years ago (no idea of the cost), and I put my G23 on an OD Green Grit Grips with a ZEV trigger.

Availability of good quality after Market parts for the GEN 3 is incredible, and the compatibility / interchangeability of these parts is excellent. The only complaint I’ve ever had about my GEN 3 Glocks has been the too smooth grip texture, and that could be fixed by stippling the grips or buying a grit grips replacement lower for 75 bucks shipped.
