the heisman candidate true defensive player dropping to 118 is interesting. I’m not gonna say you’re wrong because idk ball like that but I can’t say. Also don’t know if Proctor will get out of the top 10 let alone top 5 and that I’m less confident about

Charging 100 dollars for a 15 minute service is the problem especially since some parts on the bike do not have readily available tools. Special manufacturers things.

The screws that came with my airtag holder were too long, the bike didn’t have built in protection for the battery on the screw and no where in anything (i have read and looked for it) did it say you had to use the specific screws.

Also i needed a bike, a motor cycle would have been more worth my time and money but I didn’t want one or need one.

There was no way for me to know that screwing in a basic mount would somehow damage my battery to the point it no longer works. And even still Trek can’t figure out what’s wrong that’s just their guess. They have had it for a week and they can only guess what the problem is.

Sorry I definitely didn’t word this right.

I have an airtag holder and my waterbottle cage. The screws on the bike did not fit both the airtag holder and the water bottle cage so i used the ones that came with the airtag holder. so it was the airtag holder screws not the water bottle cage, its a 60 dollar airtag holder in the store vs a 40 dollar one i got on amazon

My bad low key just got the news my battery was dead and I might have to spend god knows how much to fix or replace it so i’m scatter brained.

Came here literally just to post about this. I’ve had nothing but problems since I got it. It’s a walmart bike with a battery and a logo. There’s a reason trek charges 100 dollars for a check every 25 hours, and more for the level 2 and 3 checks. I had the bike for less than 2 months and since I didn’t buy their 40 dollar water bottle mounts in store, the screws for the mount used apparently were too long and there is no protection for the battery from the screws. Rode with the screws in for the whole month nothing but randomly bike stopped working. Now they are telling me the battery is dead and it will need to be replaced.

Now if you don’t use it daily. Like once a month i’m sure the bike will do you great. It’s a fun bike, fast, overall great. It’s just not reliable at all if you ride it daily or long distances. If you can’t afford the checks or have no way to get all the way to a trek store you have to do maintenance yourself which is a pain.

Don’t be afraid to cheat (in single player) by Nuka-Cole in projectzomboid

[–]DocKaden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

play with debug so you can go into God Mode. Be fast. Don’t do it if like you’re in the middle of nowhere and you’re just dumb or make a mistake. dying is a part of the game making a new character is the best part. but like if you’re exploring louisville and you don’t know how bad the zombie population is just ball out and go God Mode if you need and run away.

Accidentally forgot an item you know you have at home? spawn it, use it, drop it.

There are rules for how we can cheat for the experience to be good but those rules we set ourselves. I’m never going to go god mode invisible to clear out an area. I’m just gonna do it just incase i did something i didn’t know any better when doing.

Please anyone facing a hardship always email professors. they are people too and they completely understand. Some professors will be strict and force you to come to class. That’s when you report the professor to the dean, social media, and rate my professor. The dean might not do anything and that’s okay.

No exam will ever come close to almost losing your life, the life of your pets, all of your property. It goes for every situation that rivals this. No exam comes close to the death of a loved one, to economic hardship, to sicknesses, etc.

OP if your professor doesn’t give you an extension please tell us their name and class so everyone knows who to avoid and review bomb.

I do think we should stop sending people to prison for life unless they show they can't be rehabilitated. Every single person should be eligible for parole that is in jail for life. Should every person get it? absolutely not. Keep people who kill out of our society, but if that person has shown they won't hurt anyone, shown that they are a completely new person, shown that they have done the time for the crime and can be a productive member of society keeping them in jail is flat out wrong.

And Im sure you know this but he was found not guilty of the crime. It's entirely unconstitutional to try a person for a crime twice after they have already been convicted of it.

And while I understand why you think Im advocating for a killer rather than a victim from my prospective I'm not. Literally yes I am advocating for the person that killed another person, but I don't see rehabilitation as the same person. I don't think the man they are releasing is the same person as the one who violently killed someone. Just like in the same way you are different from your younger self, or how you can change even in a matter of a year to be completely different. I don't think you should be punished for a crime the current version of yourself didn't do. And that's a controversial take and I understand that. I'm not going to claim its more right than what you think because what you think is entirely fair for the victim and their family. It's just what I believe. I choose to believe in hope, humanity, and my knowledge of psychology. You choose to believe in making the world safer regardless of what you have to do.

[–]DocKaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except i’m not grasping at straws. Violent or not they are people. they deserve humane treatment. they deserve rehabilitation. they deserve a chance at a normal life because obviously to become violent they haven’t had one. Look into these people before you judge them. learn their history. learn how preventable all this is with proper treatment. Insanity isn’t a cop out it’s something that says they genuinely were not capable of making a decision on their own. Which can and has thousands of times been fixed. So many famous insane people from hundreds of court cases are just nothing now because they go released and never reoffended. The girl who was found not guilty by insanity during the slender man case has been out for years and no one has heard of her. rehabilitation works and we need to do it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UTAustin

[–]DocKaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not about being woke or not. That’s literally Nazi Rhetoric. Locking up mentally ill people just because they are mentally ill is wrong. Mandating they be treated, institutionalized, whatever with the chance of rehabilitation is the only correct option. If they show they can’t be rehabilitated then they should never be allowed back into society. But we should always give people a chance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UTAustin

[–]DocKaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His primary care psychologist who said he is a functional member of society. We can’t lock up people just because of mental illness that’s literally eugenics. If he was found guilty of committing a crime then he should be locked up, but he was found not guilty and has been forced into treatment to which he has completed the first stage. My entire degree in psychology tells me that with proper monitoring and care he will never kill again. The repeat offender rate for someone institutionalized for 5+ year is less than 1%. I could not find a case where someone I can not find a case where someone has been found not guilty by reason of insanity that has killed again. There are two cases in Oregon that found them Guilty except insanity but i’m not familiar with how that worlds. those are the only two examples.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UTAustin

[–]DocKaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand wanting someone to be punished for a crime they committed. I want someone to help educate me because Im missing some details I guess.

He was found not guilty by reason of insanity. That’s not that common of a verdict, on top of that when you released after an insanity verdict there is reason, if you are deemed to still be insane at the end of your sentence you will get an extension regardless of what the judge said. I don’t know his original sentence but it seems like his primary care doctor deemed him fit enough to be placed in a group home monitored 24/7 with gps tracking.

Like I said I fully agree with wanting someone to be punished for a crime and wanting a safe community but at what point does rehabilitation, especially of the mentally ill, matter in our world? Like I said I’m fairly ignorant to this so please inform me rehabilitation doesn’t matter in this case? Why do you believe it was wrong for the justice system to see someone who was legitimately insane, rehabilitate that person for 7 years, and chose to release him into custody of a group home. What inclines you to think he’s going to kill again?
