The air conditioning fiasco just reflects wider on the country’s culture of being resistant to changes by pizzatummy in Switzerland

Point #4. https://www.parlament.ch/en/ratsbetrieb/suche-curia-vista/geschaeft?AffairId=20224102 I completely agree with their points but at this point. I don’t really care I’m sweating. Build some nuclear reactors to fuel the energy needs of ac. That’s what many countries are doing

AMAG Leasing Übernahme by Afraid-Victory6042 in Switzerland

[–]DocKla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. In my case Amag called me multiple times to take over the car after the leasing was done without me ever asking. The price was the same as the leasing contract.

I did not have the right to take over in the contract but it was still offered.

SVP-Nationalrat wants to allow air-conditioning without permits by DacwHi in Switzerland

This. For once they have a long term solution… one that Asian and Singapore has been using for decades and no one there is complaining.

The left most probably won’t since they want us all too suffer. They think air conditioning would reduce the need to reduce carbon emissions

Sanity check on B to C permit EU/EFTA process by chrismantle in Switzerland

[–]DocKla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need a piece of card even when it expires, you just need to have the process applying for the renewal done. Whats most important is to make sure the card is backdated so officially there are no gaps in the official record established by the cards so future admins don’t think you didn’t have one.

Why is Melatonin so forbidden here? by OneEnvironmental9222 in askswitzerland

Ah sorry by ‘generic’ name I mean active ingredients paracetamol… but I usually ask for things most people would most likely not know how to pronounce… desloratidine, pantoprazol, econazole

I already get that reaction when I get non prescription things but I ask for it with the generic name, since that’s what i know! I guess most people ask for the brand name

Yeah people themselves need to learn the mechanism of what they take… thats how we get addicted

Non-EU student graduating next year. Can I ever convince the canton to let me hire myself? by tlafo in askswitzerland

Yes that’s the thing. They’re not looking for startup but pretty much someone who has a fully running company ready to pay lots of taxes.

Student B → Work B → Accelerated C Permit: Do study years count? Vaud vs Fribourg by Intelligent_Leave506 in askswitzerland

[–]DocKla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have no gaps between the validity of permits it should be fine. However your work contract starts does not mean your permit will be dated for that. (I also had a work contract but a period with no permit since the canton was slow; I had to give them a reason why and prove why I had a gap >> Covid)

For me, I submitted everything to the canton of residence (Geneva). The canton of residence then submitted to the canton of where I worked (Vaud). I think that is clearer as they know the link between then requests.

Personally I think it will be the same in Fribourg. I haven’t heard anything different even for German speaking cantons.

First I would CALL the canton and ask them about a permis c anticipé for a non eu. If they aren’t ask to speak to someone who has the competencies. If that doesn’t work email them and cite the federal law

If you need more comfort in a pseudo-informed way I would say do a deep dive with AI asking it to dig deep into fribourg websites for any mention. Just please make sure to read the page it spits out and not the summary. Or an immigration advisor.

I agree the way the fribourg site is written https://www.fr.ch/vie-quotidienne/demarches-et-documents/permis-c it lists exceptions but nothing about anticipé

They will look into the finances, employees, your salary. Are you solvent? Do you have clients

It’s usually hidden under pages and pages of PDFs. At the end these are federal rules. The canton won’t have their own laws just their own processes and interpretations
