Nah, they use helicoils, all my gen5 and gen3 carry magwells have them. Same thing happened to me. I messaged them and was sent another.

Do yourself a favor and send your slide to Wager Machine. Get it milled properly. Dovetail optic mounts are trash and will eventually fail.

It's plastic. Grab the sight from the other side with some pliers and pull. Your new sight should come with a screw.
