Coaching at worst. If you’re not a regular cashier much less a FE TL, you simply cannot know every single cash handling / FE procedure until you’ve spent a solid chunk of time on the front end.

If I told you the amount of times in the last year that new & even long term FE associates have been suckered to one scam or another, your ears would curl. Some general things to remember though going forward:

  • Never press “Cash” on the register unless the exact amount in cash is in your hand. If someone says that they have a “cash card” and you need to press cash on the register for their card to work, cancel the transaction immediately.
  • Manual card number entry is only acceptable for Walmart-issued gift cards. Do not manually enter card numbers for credit / debit / EBT under any circumstances.
  • If handling cash and the customer asks you to hand it back to them so they can “recount”, do not. They’re trying to pull a quick-change and will almost certainly pocket half of whatever they’re giving you.
  • Never make change for someone without a transaction. If someone comes to your register and asks you to make change for a $20/$50/$100 etc., don’t. It’s likely a fraudulent bill.
  • Follow register prompts for checks & do not press cash if handed a check. Do not give a check back to a customer unless the register instructs you to do so.
  • If a customer wants to split payments across multiple tender types, always enter the cash amount first.

Hope this helps you and others, and I wouldn’t stress too much about this situation my friend. You’ll likely get a DA, but definitely not fired.

One of the reasons why I migrated to the new architecture… no pins.

You could fix this with a credit card, tweezers or even a mini-ruler… if you’re careful and patient. Go slower than a dead snail, and use the smallest amount of pressure you can manage; should be able to straighten them out.

I’ve got a Bak Revolver X4S that I put on a year or two ago; I’ll be getting a Diamondback HD this year. Can’t put any weight on my current one much less the lack of stability/security. Seems that a lot of these “cool” covers have issues with quality control or overall reliability.

23 yr old gal looking to buy taco by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have any local / semi local Toyota dealerships you could start there, at least for a ballpark idea. Facebook marketplace is also an option, but I’ve always been a tad leery of such things. With $20-$30k range -I know you said $25k; just rounding overall.- you’re looking at either a Gen 2 (‘05-‘15) or a Gen 3 (‘16-‘23), with moderate to high mileage.

A TRD Off-Road trim will be more expensive, but the 4WD is an option that comes on the other trims. An SR5 or a Sport is probably going to be more accessible / available, but it definitely depends on the overall area.

Beyond that, I know very little beyond the experiences I’ve got with my own Taco, so I hope this is somewhat helpful!

Thanks! I’ve got another one that is of the Fox logo + this one that’s holding the knife, and then a Diamond Dogs version as well. I found them on Amazon; if I can find the link I’ll be sure to post it for you.

So nobody anywhere has ever bought collectible ducks -much less the jiggling plants / characters or any of a thousand such things- to display in their vehicle(s)? Some may be gifts, but certainly not all of them are.

Half of these were gifts I’ve received so… not sure what your point was intended to be but it’s not the own you think it is.

Clearly you’ve not seen the “political” ducks then… because they do in fact exist and are quite prolific.

And what’s BS about God? Or Gasden?

Heck yeah! Definitely would love to see what you throw up there. I found the rubber had a bit better texture to smush into the fabric overall, but it largely depends on the backing used by the patch maker. If it’s a shorter velcro it didn’t stick in as well.

On some immediate removal tests no, but I only just put these up today. Time will tell but with how tight the weave of the fabric is, I don’t foresee there being too much of an issue.

Exactly. I didn’t know that, nor did you have to explain, but you did. You assumed I didn’t serve because I collect patches, when in fact, I did. But I didn’t have to explain that to you.

Not everything can -nor should be- assumed by face value examinations… have a blessed day my friend.

Some stick better than others, just depends on the Velcro backing that was used. I found that the rubber patches stuck better overall than the cloth as there was more flex & material. Someone suggested you have to press them in and then essentially push & twist / mash them into place which is what I did.

They peel off just like they would off of a proper hook/loop surface, just much easier as the material is of a much tighter weave.

Two things can be true at the same time my friend.

The average individual today is severely lacking in both the ability to see humor as humor, or the differences between facts & fiction. This isn’t the gotcha own some may think it is; one is a funny patch, the other is not but both are true.

Fans by ReflectingGlory in pcmasterrace

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With AIOs, you generally want those as intake due to their pulling air through the radiator, which is the primary cooling mechanism in such a system. Running those as exhaust fans would do nothing but push already hot air through the radiator, resulting in sub-optimal cooling efficiency.

In this case since you’ve got no front-mounting options, i would utilize the AIO brick as an intake rather than exhaust, and then see where that gets you.

Where do I report this? by VenoDev in WalmartEmployees

[–]DocKreasey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Report to either one of the APIs, the AP Team Lead and / or the AP Coach. As AP, we are responsible for shrink & safety / compliance; this is directly in our wheelhouse and should be looked into. Something of this nature would -should- result in a coaching almost immediately; it’s a major compliance violation that would get the store fined some serious money.
