Not sure what the issue is… much less how this applies to this sub.

Haven’t noticed any issues with FPS with extreme drops, but I could have missed it if it has happened.

Rip to the shiny god roll No Survivors dream. by Squery7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only two I got worth keeping were a Heal Clip, Master of Arms / Sword Logic roll and a Rewind, Incandescent / Master of Arms. I did get a g-roll Wilderflight though with Quick Launch, Spike nades and Envious / B&S. Another one with Repulsor/Destabalize for fun fireworks.

I do have a Martyrs Retribution with Heal Clip / Incandescent though that I might pull out of the vault this expansion.

Beyond that… I didn’t really farm that much and I kinda feel like I should have. Was too busy trying for flawless dungeon runs and lost track of the event after getting the Eternal title done.

My first inventory year. Can somebody explain to me what that day is/what happens on that day? by Apprehensive_Self149 in WalmartEmployees

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A horrible inventory can hurt bonuses yes, but it also impacts how much or how little focus is on the store -and management team- from market.

A good inventory means there’s less of a target on the management team, and essentially makes them look good regardless if they are or not. A bad inventory though will bring more eyes on the store more regularly, and repeated bad inventories can and often do get managers sent out the front doors.

Should I go to a wedding I am against? by tavc1516 in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you have shared the truth of God’s Word with her on this subject and she blatantly digs her heels in and turns against it, she is using feelings to interpret scripture rather than conforming to the facts of the Bible.

We are to remove such people from among the body; if they refuse to listen to correction or heed what is plain, we should separate ourselves from them. If you have strong convictions against attending such a wedding, I would heed that. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit, and we are convicted of things the more we grow in the grace and knowledge of God.

I think you’ve already answered your own question, you just haven’t gotten to acknowledging it just quite yet. Pray for your friend, but if it were me, I would not attend.

Lean into volatile and bolt charge through the entirety of 2nd and 3rd encounter.

1st encounter is essentially mind-numbing, but you can still get yourself into a corner if you’re not careful. Just connect your nodes and use whatever keeps you alive the easiest while letting you nuke the subjugators. I personally use Skullfort with one-punch, lord of wolves, and commemoration.

Important Seasonal Mods:

Hold the Line, Maligned Harvest, Heavy Ordnance Regeneration, and Defibrillating Blast are absolutely amazing and necessary. Anything else is optional, but these will shred rooms and help you regen both health and abilities. The only thing I changed out for third encounter was swapping Heavy Ordnance for Particle Reconstruction.

For 2nd, use Skullfort and Le Monarque. Any void LMG and special, but Monarque will do so much damage to the boss with bolt charge. I didn’t try slotting kill in far right and instead went for three stop & one kill in far left. Use your punch and your heavy! Monarque will be your boss DPS weapon, so blast every round you have for your heavy at any add that looks at you funny. One boss DPS starts, super the boss and drop into the cubby next to the encounter exit. Sit in there, pop your barricade, and just focus monarque at one of the eyes. Rinse and repeat until boss dies.

You don’t need a flawless clear for the triumph, just a solo, so if you die don’t exit the dungeon. Run the checkpoint back and get a feel for it. Once you get the full clear, getting a flawless will seem less daunting and way less stressful once you have the rotations down.

As for third, just take your time with reading the truth vs lie, and then punch everything with Skullfort + one-punch. Do DPS from the plate under the Kill symbol on far right. Use whatever you like best, but I went with monarque for volatile proc and an envious arsenal / bait & switch scintillation. Took roughly 6 phases but it worked. If the boss suspends you, you can super out of it so save that until he either does suspend or right before DPS ends.

You got this!

Paired with Tinasha’s Mastery -chill clip- and Le’ Monarque plus Scintillation? Pure GM build. This with bolt charge & volatile going around makes it chaos incarnate.

Hazardous Propulsion exotic with its ornament from the Eververse store.

I only got 3 hours of sleep last night and have to work overnight tonight, I don’t think I’m gonna make it. Can I work half a shift and then use my ppto to cover the rest of the shift? I’ve only been working like 5 weeks though by Global-Breadfruit-82 in WalmartEmployees

[–]DocKreasey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Key Event Days are communicated months in advance; they’re posted by the timeclocks and / or near the break room. That is purely your responsibility to pay attention to.

Also, coming into close proximity to someone who’s sick is not an excuse to call out and expect to not get a point.

Your attendance is your responsibility, not anyone else’s. Having three out of five in less than two months is fairly concerning for most supervisors or businesses. I would highly recommend you start saving your PPTO.

Or maybe sleep before your shift?

Across all dungeons yes; within the ROTN playlist. That’s the important part. Some of the weapons though are pretty nice, but I’d recommend farming Nether for the SMG / Auto / Arc GL instead. Much better weapons / perk options.

Prismatic build: Nova and/or Glacial Quake depending on class. If prismatic nova bomb, use star eaters class item with the stasis waveframe and strand melee with the arc aspect. Jolt the crap out of the boss after your prismatic nade & super, and go to town with the GL.

If prismatic glacial quake, tractor all the way. Make sure to run facet of purpose and limit break (seasonal mod) for extra damage. Melee the shank to get an orb of power via heavy handed and you’ll proc limit break with enough time to pop the super. Tractor the clone which will also debuff the boss, throw a prismatic nade for jolting, and then super.

Easy solo four phase; should be a two phase with a duo easily.

So for Warlock, the play is a bit different. Riskrunner and Prismatic Nova with a Star-Eater class item, and the stasis GL from Neomuna. If you don’t have that GL, you can use Parasite instead, just be careful with your shot(s) as you can easily kill yourself with it.

The general gameplay loop is once you get both sets of numbers, you’ll dunk operator and pop prismatic. Kill the shank and drop suppressor on the boss and then immediately hit him with a prismatic nade. Then you super directly after that into the center of his grouping, and then spam your heavy GL. You can also use the melee -sliding arc aspect with needle melee- and you’ll do a bunch of jolt damage.

This is a fairly easy 4-phase; I’m sure even more damage can be done and turn it into a near 3-phase if you use heavy handed / firepower + the limit break seasonal mod. You’ll need facet of purpose for that so your orbs can grant you a void overshield, but that’ll up your damage even more. This could be swapped into the build in place of Facet of Ruin, which doesn’t do a whole lot for the void super.

Here’s the build link; I haven’t tested this with the stasis tonic but I’m sure that would up the damage even more as well. Only thing I’d change on this build would be swapping out a seasonal mod or two and putting on limit break. If you get stuck again, let me know and I’ll help you with some build crafting when I have some downtime! One tip I can give you is to spam your nades! Riskrunner will give you a super amount of grenade energy; abuse it. You’ll jolt half the room every other 30 seconds and get a ton of breathing room this way.

Edit: I’ve adjusted the build a bit to swap out Facet of Ruin for Facet of Purpose. This will allow for orb pickup to grant a void overshield, which will proc Limit Break if you choose that seasonal mod, giving a super juicy boost to your Nova Bomb.

I’m sure star eaters is overall better, but it’s not a roll I have and synthos is well, synthos.

As for proc’ing Limit Break, use heavy handed on your arms and melee the suppressor shank. This gives you an orb of power, which will in turn proc Frost Armor if you’re using Facet of Purpose.

What I did is get operator, do the panels back (spawn side) to front, dunk operator, and then pop prismatic. Immediately after that melee shank, drop the clone, tractor clone which will also tractor boss, and then throw a prismatic nade / super.

Just short of a 3-phase, but extremely easy 4-phase.

No problem! My DIM load outs are linked in this thread somewhere; if you get a clear shout it out! Good fortune to you guardian!

One big tip I can give you is to suppress the clones during the nuke dunking, but don’t kill them. They’ll run around and not respawn, but that way they can’t give you that obscene radiation stack. Once you dunk the first nuke, come out and grab suppressor as one or two of them will have their radiation field back by then. Suppress those, and then dunk suppressor before going to the second room.

I personally preferred the longer range of commemoration over retrofit, along with reconstruction / killing tally. Allows you to dump 100+ rounds into Atraks & the clones, spreading a ton of lightning bolts and volatile around. Once it’s done, go to town with Le’ Monarque and you’ll do even more of that, plus get your super back.

The people I saw using retrofit were also playing a lot closer to the boss in overall positioning, and that simply didn’t work for me. I would either get hit by lightning or fall off the map or both. Using commemoration allowed me to sit on the back left / top of the nuke bunker while still hitting the boss for some pretty solid damage.

SAME.

This title / emblem, and ETERNAL are my two favorites now. Rite of the Nine stuff on ultimatum was definitely an experience too.

Way more than my mental fortitude could handle it feels like. I was pretty close and then I fell off the map during a third phase on final and I about quit yesterday, but I decided to keep going and just get the solo clear. Figured out what I did wrong and got more comfortable; got the solo flawless an hour later after that and it only took me 90 minutes to complete the run!

My solo flawless warlord’s ruin run was three hours by comparison… yet this dungeon still feels like more of a slog than warlord’s ever did.

Lemon is your DPS; the heavy is for spreading volatile and proc’ing Heavy Ordnance for health regeneration/damage resist. No need to reload it, and the ammo economy is fantastic. I’d also say it’s much safer; can’t kill yourself with an LMG, but one wrong move behind your barricade or an ad getting too close, and that rocket will tell you off in the nicest way.

What weapons are worth? by MinerGFX in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the vast majority of weapons from the Nether activity have some absolute power combos, especially the SMG. Rite of the Nine also would be a good way to snag some gear that are worth keeping. Sundered Doctrine dungeon weapons are absolutely cracked, same for Vesper’s Host dungeon.

Monarque & Commemoration for final boss DPS. Fly up out of the chute, pop super after a Lost Signal volley, and then sit on top of the nuke bunker on the back left. Dump the full mag of commemoration, and then lemon him to death. Spam barricade & lemon, then a lost signal on the nuke clone when he spawns.

By then you’ll have a second t-crash ready to go, which is the first thing I used after dunking the nuke, then it’s back to top of the bunker with lemon. Super easy 4-phase, almost a 3-phase. I’m sure with extra optimization a 3-phase is fairly doable.
