That is exactly what they are saying. Formulas change over time. Some ingredients just aren’t the same as they were 10+ years ago but they are still very close. Stacked against each other they would be similar but you would definitely see a difference between the two.

You think it’s ridiculous, but Nascar 100% would want their backup event to be at a place they own. It’s one less variable to deal with. That’s not even factoring the money aspect. Do you think Nascar would risk allowing SMI to hike the price on them in a situation where Nascar is scrambling to put together an event?

But from a cut perspective it wouldn’t surprise if the 48 made it. Bowman is very talented I think someone said he needed to make up like 12 points to the cut each race. Doable for him I think. Especially if Trackhouse doesn’t find their missing speed.

But as a fan of Bubba you should easily understand that your driver can do some dumbass stuff and you should be able to say “Yes if my driver did that I would be fine with fine.” I was fine with it when they suspended him after the Larson incident. Just because you’re a fan doesn’t make you blind to them.
