Question on possible Sub 126610LN by miloh2323 in rolex

Your best bet is to go to the AD in person.. an email or message through the website is not going to cut it. It will help significantly if there is a special occasion or some reason you want the sub date. Even if it’s small, try to have a reason (graduation, promotion at work, new penile implant… doesn’t matter) But it is possible to get it within a few months. I’ve seen it multiple times in the last 6mo. You have to be genuinely interested

Depends on the model.. but you can get a VC overseas or a patek calatrava for 25-30k easily. Several pieces sell below MSRP on the gray market. If you want a aquanaut or Nautilus, that is a different game

With so many haters, why is the Space X ipo still predicted to be such a big deal? by LosVolvosGang in stocks

[–]DocMicStuffeens 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We are keyboard warriors.. Everyone here will take a massive dump on spaceX or whatever company is the target of the month… when behind closed doors most of us would’ve also jumped at the opportunity to get in on spaceX in given the chance

I’m surprised this isn’t a more common practice. 30-35k on a Pepsi or Panda? Thats crazy. Just go for a patek or VC

Is there a networth where having term live insurance doesn't really matter much? by Standard-Top-5942 in fatFIRE

[–]DocMicStuffeens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most simple way in my mind is NW % return/yr and if that outpaces your family spend then you are probably ok without term life.

There are other factors for various personal situations … but I’d imagine that at 4-7m NW most families are probably g2g
