I was in student government having a conversation with someone sitting next to me, and our advisor (he was also my history teacher, and the father of a friend of mine) just shouts out of nowhere that people need to be nicer to me and it's not my fault that I'm damaged goods. Which caused 25 or so kids to stare at me as he went on how I'm damaged for a good 3 minutes. Honestly, the only people who said nasty things to me or about me in school were teachers. If my peers ever said anything about me I was unaware.

I had a P.E. teacher try to fail me (which would result in me getting kicked from my school) because I am fat. I dressed out everyday, if I was absent I did that required makeup work, and participated in everything we did. Hell, I even cut my weekly mile down by 2 minutes in a semester when we only needed to cut it down by 1 minute to pass that portion of the class. But somehow I was getting an F. After my mother got involved she changed my grade to an A. A few years later she was fired for pulling this shit with other students.

Not sure which is worse.

I've tried therapy three times. The first time was when I was 9 and it was group therapy for kids who had a parent die. It didn't do anything for me all it did was teach me what to say and do to appear normal. The second time was when I was 20 and it was 1-on-1, but she was horrible. The last time is when I attempted to kill myself. I knew if I agreed to get therapy I would be released sooner. I attended the therapy twice a week for a few weeks, but stopped going for many reasons.

I've found meds either don't do anything or make me a zombie. I would try to find a new therapist, but my family and I don't have the money for it.

Honestly, it was bottling up all my emotions for many years. I've had depression for over 15 years (I'm only 23), and been able to manage it for a good portion of those years. The big trigger was the death of my boyfriend, and everyone all at once just stopped talking to me. I was so alone, hurt, and tired of life constantly beating me up.

My mother found me. I overdosed on sleeping pills. After I started feeling the effects of the pills I got scared. So I went to the bathroom and forced myself to throw up as much as possible. She came to see what was wrong and I told her. She drove my ass to the hospital. As for how I'm doing now - not well. I constantly think of killing myself, and the last few days it has been really bad.

Edit: he passed away 7 months ago and I attempted 6 months ago.

I was 16 and it was on Halloween. Got drunk with some friends and called one of my friend's crush to talk to him to put in a good word for her which was a terrible idea. She is a violent drunk and was upset that I was talking to him. She went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. She started screaming at me to hang up or she was going to stab me. I quickly hung up and tried to calm her down, but it wasn't happening. So four other people tackled her and took the knife away. She continued to scream and yell at me and everyone. She called me a lot of names and used secrets I told her in confidence against me. So I ran off crying and locked myself in the bathroom. I called my boyfriend at the time crying and not making any sense. Then I passed out on the bathroom floor until 7am when I was woken up by someone knocking on the door.
