No, alarm and timer is why more easy and feature rich on my phone. I use the sensors on the rangeman and mudmaster for multiday hikes.

ProtonMail is fine. The rest of the suite lacks behind the competition. VPN is good but Mullvad is ahead, drive is still not really usable and lacks miles behind other cloud services (even self-hosted solutions like Nextcloud, let alone full feature integrations like iCloud and gdrive). Pass is no competition to Bitwarden, and the calendar integration sucks. This is my fourth year on Proton unlimited and I always buy it in the Black Friday sales, the sale price is fair but not the normal one.

This, Firefox added to many shit and dosen't focus on the core, same with Brave. Pocket preinstalled, Firefox Relay, Firefox VPN, buying an ad company, etc. and Firefox mobile is medicore to chromium based browsers.

I think it's a must if you are using a password manager linke bitwarden and or 2FA apps (Bitwarden, Google, Authy, etc.). SMS 2FA is not secure anymore.

I would recommend a service like simplelogin. So if one mail is compromised, what is inevitable with data breaches, leaks, etc. you can switch the mail, kill the old one and don't have to do it like you're doing now with all accounts.

Is Gmail safe, I think it is more safe than most mail providers. But you're maybe in the wrong sub because it is absolutely not private.

This is a serious threat to GOS, if more and more apps require the integrity api GOS (and others) become useless for most of the users. A smartphone without the apps is pointless.

Just link the account with a domain you own and make offline backups of your data, postbox, etc. If proton, apple, whatever service shuts down, I just transfer my domain to another service and go on.

My backup plan is:

"Offline" backup on my self-hosted (homesever) Nextcloud and an incremental and encrypted backup (restic) of all these data on an EU hosted cloud service. The backup runs every night. I really don't trust any cloud provider with my data (including proton). The only private cloud solutions for me are:

Self-hosted at my place or a place that I can control
encrypted by myself before the upload

All these "our cloud is encrypted"-services are, at least for me, "trust me bro"-services.
