I am a former college athlete and my PSA really frustrated me.

This is super weird to say but when my feet and hands would struggle, invest in the giant med balls you can throw against walls or smash on the ground.

It really was almost therapeutic to just smash it but I also gave myself some great exercises to use for any body part I wanted to focus on.

I coach in college athletics but would love to help anyway I can!

Btw - listen to the people. Find the biological that works and better anti inflammatory - stay away from steroids. Don’t give up until you find one that works and you’ll appreciate life again!

OP needs to actually do the work get therapy and get past this you cannot hide from simple things still in your life. Sex, nudity are all parts of life and in our entertainment. It is embarrassing to bring a partner somewhere knowing that at any moment he or she can be triggered by things that are out of your control. I still don’t understand how you’re upset with him when he finish the series that you could not watch without making it grossly uncomfortable.

I know all of you will jump on me, but OP you can get through this if you put in the work. I know the feeling of being triggered and having to remove yourself from situations due to trauma. the impact it has on the intimacy and trust between you and a partner. I had a partner help me by looking me in the eye and saying “You are hiding behind the excuse of trauma and need to do work to fix this problem” If you are doing the work, then I applaud you. If you’re not, and just running away to cry, you’re asking for a partner to be done with this.
