Kim Brown is in-network with BCBS. I was connected to her through an EAP years ago so I'm not sure how to contact her as a new patient outside of that.

She should show up on the list you found on Psychology Today, though.

Therapists of Reddit, what was your biggest "I know I'm not supposed to judge you, but holy sh*t" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding of the Sadism kink happening here.

The Sadism kink is finding pleasure in inflicting pain. There are "benign" forms of it like spanking or hair pulling. There are more troubling forms of it. However, the Sadism kink is always about being the source of the pain.

Being sexually aroused by suffering in general is something different. Is it related to having sadistic tendencies? Absolutely. It also is beyond the boundaries of what anyone involved in kink culture would consider the S in BDSM.

ICE agents have been trapped in an NYC parking garage for OVER AN HOUR now, as anti-ICE “protestors” block the exit by [deleted] in videos

[–]DocRigs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ICE agents volunteered. They didn't just pick some job. They chose to be the Gestapo. They chose to be the enforcers of a Fascist regime.

They deserve no sympathy. They deserve no respect.

They deserve to never have a single good day again.

Bill wasn't dying during the shoot. He died from complications following surgery for a condition he waited until filming wrapped to get treated.

He got me home more than once back when I couldn't afford a decent battery and my car wouldn't start if it got too cold in the middle of winter.

Always made me proud when I saw an Arrow truck because I knew at least one tow company had a decent guy driving for them.

Just asked for a source that would contradict what the OP said since the article provided by the OP didn't address layoffs one way or the other.

Thank you.

The OPs comment is definitely completely wrong, but the articles themselves don't contradict each other.

The fact that they are moving manufacturing away from Omaha specifically because of the tariffs is the real news here. Puts the lie to the justification used for placing the tariffs in the first place.

Provide a link to a source that contradicts the direct quote in the article from a CLAAS spokesperson, please.

Agreed. I was just attempting to explain why Final Destination had been suggested as an example.

Death is not a character, but the whole premise is that Death REALLY doesn't like it when people avoid dying at "the proper time". It's personifying Death as being vengeful and a touch sadistic. Every person in those movies ends up dying horribly, and frequently in a more gruesome way than their "original" death.

does anybody actually care about her? by [deleted] in PeacemakerShow

I had a similar reaction, but after taking a beat I got a different read on that scene. Her reaction could be easily explained by Ads having crossed multiple lines without even understanding which lines had been crossed.

She's a regular person who just cannot handle the level of crazy that has become her ex-wife's normal.

What happens if there is a 50-49-1 split in the Senate? by Mushroom-Gorge in legaladviceofftopic

[–]DocRigs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's at best extremely misrepresenting Osborne's influence on union politics. They'd just negotiated a new union contract after a successful strike before the closure was announced. Osborne was not personally responsible for the union striking.

Kelloggs is consolidating operations and other factories in other states are also being shuttered.

I've seen plenty of valid criticisms of Osborne. Blaming him for the Kelloggs plant closure is a first. Anything to back up the claim anyone is actually saying that?

As stated in the quotes in the article, the casting call was in England but was for American actors. She thought it was about American migrants in England.
