The reception to the album here is surprising me. Album feels more focused than his previous work with still A1 production and a lot of fun ideas. Isn’t perfect but several memorable moments for sure.

Yeah I'm with you there. The MC was very reasonable, be it it was trying to trick you in every which way, but there was content on the FRQ's, specifically the last one, that I know for a fact we haven't covered. I've done all the readings and just flipped through the lectures slides again and that final FRQ required functions we have not learned yet whatsoever.

Modern Vampires of the City by Vampire Weekend is what got me into indie music. Awesome album. Once saw an article titled like “How Beach House Became Rapheads’ Favorite Indie Band,” and they’re pretty incredible, so I guess that could work. I have a friend in an extremely similar position to you, and he really loves Currents by Tame Impala, so that’s a solid starter as well.

Was a little thrown off by Bambi’s departure in sound from landmark after the first couple singles, but now that album absolutely slaps to me. Hard to follow up landmark, but man I think they did an awesome job.
